We found it and Valentina Visconti is an absolutely adorable coffee shop!! It is a fairly tiny shop with a handful of seats and tables. The staff was welcoming, super friendly and helpful as we perused the menu and desserts/pastries. I ordered a Lavender Matcha Almond Milk Latte. It was excellent and I would recommend it! The barista offered to make my drink a little sweeter, but it was perfect just as he prepared it! Feeling a little hungry, I also opted for the gluten-free carrot cake... and i am glad that I did because it was the absolute best carrot cake I have ever had hands down! The single person unisex bathroom was clean and comfortable. We grabbed seats at the table and sat down for a game of Uno from their complementary games. I truly believe the best tasting coffee comes from shops that roast in house; grateful there was one local. Ran into this place and realized I already Saved them to my list of places to go when I came down. Front door was locked, and we were directed to order at the window. Asked for a double shot espresso; good flavor, not over-roasted, and perfectly frothy. I didn't see a Menu anywhere and wondered if they had alternative milks (oat, almond, etc). The local behind us heard me asking friends if they see anything and he replied that they do! I cannot comment on the ambiance inside, as I didn't have access...but there was an outdoor raised patio with tables and chairs that looked nice. I was told how much in MX, but when I was trying to figure out what that was in US, she told me. Good espresso...go glad I found this place!

No one offered a refill. My girlfriend ordered a green drink which seems to be a cucumber, celery, kale, mixture. Tasted healthy but also balanced. They have various chilequiles and I ordered red with chicken and eggs. It was ok. I would not order it again mainly because the chicken did not seem made in house. It was strips of overcooked chicken breast naked on top of the chilaquiles. There are better choices on this menu so I will be back to try those.

It seems especially hard to find a coffee shop serving iced cold drinks when in another country. We searched high and low for a coffee shop in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), and we stumbled upon this place. They served all your traditional coffee needs along with pastries and light bites. The coffee was everything I needed for a fair price. I'd definitely recommend this place if you have a hankering for coffee on this side of town.

Happened upon this place which is just a couple of doors down, closer to the water, from the Blue Marlin. Had been craving chilaquiles, so that is what I ordered. Got them with machaca, shredded beef. Normally they come with a red sauce but I have had them in the past with a mixture of red and green sauces, Christmas version if you will. That is what I got. First heard of the Christmas version many, many years ago, somewhere in Southern New Mexico. It was great then, same as it was today. Presentation was great, as were the chilaquiles; possibly the best I've ever eaten. As good as the food was, the service by James, was equally as good, excellent actually. I'm not sure why this restaurant is not on Yelp yet, but if I'm the first to review that's great. Have included a photo or two here to show the chilquiles, menu and location.
