My dad went with the traditional Irish breakfast and loved his first black sausage - delicious he said! My mom's pancakes were refreshing with the fresh berries. It makes me laugh to see the portion sizes in Ireland compared to back home in the States. If you find yourself in Tralee, I highly recommend this for your first meal of the day. You can't go wrong. UPDATE: We came in a second day and my sister and I ordered the Breakfast Croissant. Best.Breakfast.Ever. Of my life. And the Harty's Red Pepper Jelly. I'm hooked.

We thought we couldn't go wrong with a place with "Yummy" in the name. It was initially a bit hard to find the place because it's located in an internal square and you couldn't see the name from the road. The full Irish breakfast here is €7.95 and it was fried egg, slice of toast, 1 black pudding, 1 white pudding, a bacon rasher and two sausages plus an amazing, amazing tomato chutney that I licked clean. The chutney had just the right amount of raisins and was tart and delicious. The size of this breakfast was fairly massive and I had a hard time finishing off everything on the plate - in fact I did end up leaving half the black pudding behind on the plate. So I really liked the egg - tasted super farm fresh, other standout was the white pudding. The ham and sausages and the grilled tomato were all pretty good too. Overall good food, lovely service, absolute value for money and so would recommend. Note: #248 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

We had the lunch sandwich special and it hit the spot. Would have been nice to have some crisps or other side served with the sandwich for the price. But overall, great experience.

I'm pretty sure we got there when they first opened so not many people were there. The interior was super cozy though. Very homey. I really had a feeling we were going to be in for a treat and we were. Now I ordered the Pancakes...Yes. I totally went the safe route, but your boy had cravings you know? Long story short, they were delicious. But I really wanted to spotlight what my girlfriend got, which was the full Irish Breakfast. Never in my life have I been so excited to eat baked beans for breakfast. Like can this just be an everywhere thing now? Man they were good. The beauty of the dish is that you have a bunch of different things to choose from and eat together. It's simple but together, it really is a treat. I enjoyed having bites of the beans with the ham and sausage. Then I would have a bite of the tomato with the meat as well. I appreciated that everything was cooked perfectly too. Not one thing was overcooked. I really liked the presentation on hash brown. Not only did it taste good but it had a perfect circle to it. My favorite thing out of the bunch was the puddings. The white pudding was delicious but I enjoyed my bite of the black pudding out of the too. I have no idea what were in them when I tried but maybe some thyme? There definitely were some tasty herbs in each. It wasn't later that I found out from my friends that the Black one possibly had blood in it. But it makes since because I do enjoy Dinuguan if its in front of me. I don't know what it is with the blood but im about it. The Black Pudding just had more of a deeper flavor to me. So long story short if you come here I highly recommend Puff's Irish Breakfast. I only hope that other Irish Breakfasts will be as good this in the future.

This was our second breakfast stop and the reason we choose it because we got a flyer for a free tart. (Btw the tart was strawberry and it was delicious!) My first thought when my Irish breakfast came on the table was that the plate was too little for the amount of food. So what my plate consisted of and my thoughts on the portion are as below: - one fried egg, very softly done (too soft for me - would have liked the whites cooked a wee bit more) - 2 small rounds of black pudding (delish!) - 2 small rounds of white pudding (not as good as the one I ate previously at the Yummy cafe) - lovely scoop of baked beans (these mixed with my egg, which I didn't like, to be honest) - 2 pretty decent size rashers of bacon (very salty for my palate) - half a pan-fried tomato (well- cooked) - small scoop of fried fresh mushrooms (nice, but too small in quantity) - I switched out the regular two slices of toasted white bread for the local cracked wheat bread (okay) - Medium sized glass of OJ (can also chose coffee and tea). Service was lovely, and they have free wifi and with a very cute password. However I'm not sure if I was a local if I would come back? For my tastes, I found my previous Irish breakfast experience at Yummy to be overall much better. This is not to say this is not bad, but I'm on the fence about it.
