I would just go and get this and eat it with good Irish cheddar cheese - toast: two different varieties and crisp - freshly roasted filter coffee: fantastically light roast. All for €9,95!! This was the first full Irish breakfast I ate where I walked up and felt perfectly full but not stuffed. The Roast House has my vote for the #1 Irish breakfast in Tralee with Yummy Cafe as #2. They have a full restaurant as can be seen in the photo I submitted of the outside, but once you enter you realize they are also a full bakery and have a great assortment of all kinds of scones and baked goods as well as many breakfast and lunch items. I ended up getting a cappuccino and slice of a quiche and both were excellent. My wife ended up getting a scone which was also terrific and a latte. We also had an 18 month old with us and we were surprised that they catered well to children and had baby chairs as well. This is a place where it is welcoming and once you sit down, it is hard to leave. Service was friendly and quick and if we were staying in Killarney longer, there would have definitely been a repeat visit to this place. We will look to visit this place on our next trip to Killarney.

Next is a case of sweets and pastries. I didn't try either, but it looked amazing! It was about noon, and it was fairly busy. Large wooden booths with pillows for seating, and tables in the back. This was our second breakfast stop and the reason we choose it because we got a flyer for a free tart. (Btw the tart was strawberry and it was delicious!) My first thought when my Irish breakfast came on the table was that the plate was too little for the amount of food. So what my plate consisted of and my thoughts on the portion are as below: - one fried egg, very softly done (too soft for me - would have liked the whites cooked a wee bit more) - 2 small rounds of black pudding (delish!) - 2 small rounds of white pudding (not as good as the one I ate previously at the Yummy cafe) - lovely scoop of baked beans (these mixed with my egg, which I didn't like, to be honest) - 2 pretty decent size rashers of bacon (very salty for my palate) - half a pan-fried tomato (well- cooked) - small scoop of fried fresh mushrooms (nice, but too small in quantity) - I switched out the regular two slices of toasted white bread for the local cracked wheat bread (okay) - Medium sized glass of OJ (can also chose coffee and tea). Service was lovely, and they have free wifi and with a very cute password. However I'm not sure if I was a local if I would come back? For my tastes, I found my previous Irish breakfast experience at Yummy to be overall much better. This is not to say this is not bad, but I'm on the fence about it.
