western breakfast

This coffee shop is really cute inside! They have a smaller selection of coffees, however they got a real nice espresso machine & the quality was great. I got the french toast with fruit and nutella. It was 10/10! I would definitely come back. The pricing is cheap as well! I think I paid around $6 for my breakfast. The service was also great. The lady and cashier were very friendly.

You may never find this gem because it doesn't show up on Google or Yelp (as of this writing), but…read moreit is worth the find. It's situated directly behind El Verde BBQ (which is street facing), so simply go to the side of El Verde BBQ and you'll be at your destination. Apparently there are two owners, and one runs the comic shop, and the other the cafe. They split the help and service staff between the two businesses. The owner that runs the cafe is a vegan. A such, the vegan (and non-vegan from my friends who came with), are exactly what you would want from a cafe that serves vegan food. I ordered the tofu scramble and the hummus, the hummus from the flavor tasted fresh and homemade, and the tofu scramble on top of the pan de aqua they serve it with was delicious. The prices are also extremely reasonable here, although the prices surprisingly are not printed on the menu, we shared one appetizer and had two entrees with two bottled waters for $20 tax and tip included. For vegans in the area this is a must go to. For non-vegans, it's a cooky comic shop and cafe with great food that's worth a look. Also, for Gusto coffee fans out there, that's the brand they serve here.

I have given this place a bunch of chances and yet they always fail to deliver the basics. They are…read morealways out of ingredients, first time was they didn't have vegan pancakes because the owner is the one who prepares the mix (this place specializes in vegan food), the second time I ordered a wrap and they were out of lettuce! The third time I wanted a fruit juice (natural) and they said I can pick a soda but when I asked for a bottle of juice, they wanted to charge me for it (it was a groupon I have purchased that included a natural drink). I have to admit, the few times they got my order right, it was superb! Too bad I can't get my hopes up and expect high standards from them.
