A nice little cafe with lovely cakes and lovely staff. Can be a bit of a cock-fest at lunch time (we need some more girls in here).

I love sitting outside when it's sunny because I get the warmth of the sun and the buzz of the high street all in one. I am about to go on my second flat white of the morning - a must try! - and it's only been less than an hour I've been here. If you are not into chains like Starbucks and Costa like Me, then The Press Room is the perfect place to be!

Other reviews had high marks. I left mostly unsatisfied. Beans from a can, fries that were standard, and ham omelette was for me not anything to rave about. About a 16 walk from our hotel on Bath Road and we passed a half dozen restaurants to get to this location. Fortunately we were able to figure out the bus system to get to our next destination. Was it a hearty meal? There was plenty of food for sure, I just lost my appetite for how plain it all was. Again service was fast. Food was not as good as I was hoping for.

It was delicious, although ever so slightly dry as it was the last piece of the cake. There were also many other options, brownies, cookies, battenburg, carrot, coffee, granola bars etc. I absolutely love to find a cafe offering all it's own homemade produce and this place is perfect in that sense. They also offer a large brunch & lunch menu, again full of homemade offerings that all sound delicious. Everything from soups to posh hotdogs, nachos to granola. Coffee is delicious! Staff are great, super friendly and welcoming. Will be returning often from now on!
