Coffee on Wooer (CoW) is a cafe/coffee shop/bar, hidden away on Wooer Street, just a short walk away from Falkirk's main high street. When I visited on a Friday afternoon it was already super busy and it's easy to see why.
As well as serving good coffee and really good cake, they have juices, smoothies, milkshakes, teas, beer, wine, spirits, sandwiches, nachos, etc etc etc. They seem to pride themselves in the skills they have in making great coffee and they work hard to make their menu customisable - not just offering soya milk and flavour syrups, but also giving you the option to try aeropress coffee, for example.
The cafe itself is a decent size, with more seating available upstairs. There are big windows letting in plenty of natural light and it's a comfy place to sit and relax or to socialise. They have free WiFi too, although when I visited I got the impression that it would usually be too busy to get much work done here.
All in all, a lovely cafe and one well worth visiting if you're in Falkirk. read more
