I've had my LaPavoni Strad these 16 years in Vancouver serviced by excellent technicians, as well as myself. I moved to Calgary last summer and now, I needed servicing. I went to this place. In Calgary, in a garage and asked if he could service it. He moaned and complained and finally said "$250" I said ok. I returned next day, paid him cash and left. Next morning I tried to make some coffee, but the portafikter would not engage. No matter what i tried (using another portafilter) releasing the screen and replacing it, I could not insert the portafilter. I called him to explain I was surprised at this and even though explaining that I'm experienced and knowledgeable about my machine, he could not offer solutions. The conversation ended. I expected him to simply say to come over and he would fix it. This man does not LaPavoni machines. He is rude, complaining, and I should have sensed something was wrong. $250 for a standard seal replacement? Outrageous. Avoid this guy, or don't. If you drop in and visit him have a chat. You will understand what I mean. read more

I had to visit Predrag again after my husband overheated our Ascaso machine. The moment I entered the store I heard the worst news: he was not working with these machines anymore! And while saying so, he stood up from his counter, took my machine and said he'd have a look just in case it was an easy fix. He unfolded a chair and put it outside for me and my kiddo to watch city life waiting. A few minutes later my machine was up and running again, at which point I mentioned another little nuisance it kept giving me, and he simply fixed that and handed my precious over to me refusing any payment! He also mentioned a competitor who might be working with these machines should I need a service again. I have had the best experience with this service: fast, efficient, long-lasting, to the point, polite without any up-sell or small talk (I am very bad at it). read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store!!! The man that works here has always been really helpful and polite, both over the phone and in person. I phoned ahead to be sure that he fixes Breville espresso makers (their website listed him as the authorized repair place) and he told me he would need to see the machine in person to know for sure, but that he could almost definitely fix it. I brought the machine in and explained the problem - a leak. He was able to give me an estimate of repair costs and said he would phone me if it would be higher. He phoned me two days later, and the cost was drastically less than he originally quoted me because the work was so quick and easy. I recently brought the same machine in for the same problem (it's been YEARS since he fixed it last and it's been working perfectly up until now) and again, he phoned me within a week to let me know that he had fully cleaned and descaled the machine in addition to fixing the problem, and again, the cost was DRASTICALLY less than I was quoted. This man really knows his coffee maker repairs - I highly recommend going here! read more

I just called to ask if they could clean/repair my Cuisinart Coffee Maker and before I could finish my sentence the guy interrupted me to rudely say no. I then asked if he could recommend anyone who could and again was rudely told no and then hung up on! If you can't take a minute to at least be pleasant if not helpful then I will be sure never to call again and also recommend others not call as well! read more

Giving 1 star because I can't give 0 stars! I called to ask for a part for a Cuisinart machine and the person on the phone was rude to me when I told him I wasn't sure of the machine model. As I was heading to the machine to look up the info I started to explain what part I was looking for. At this point he rudely interrupted me and told me there were hundreds of machines. I explained I was giving him some background to the part I was looking for and he hung up on me. I called back and he continued to be rude and he exclaimed he didn't have parts for Cuisinart. I have two Saeco machines. At different times I had some problems with each. In one a boiler malfunctioned and the other had a hose leak and the electronics screen was effected. In both cases I had excellent service. Pedrag took the time to show and explain what the problem was. He had the necessary parts and fixed the machines. In this day and age Of throw away it's nice to know their are still skilled experts we can rely on when needed. read more

I have a Delonghi Magnifica espresso machine. I tried 2 weeks in a row to get it into Myric the authorized repair service in Calgary. They were not taking in new machines as they were very busy and I was told it may be up to a month to get my machine back. As my caffeine addiction is off the charts I tried Pedrag at Coffee Machine Services! What a gem! I dropped my machine in on Wednesday afternoon and got it back on Monday! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and honest! read more

I wish I could give them a rating below 1. STAY AWAY. I have a kettle that is under warranty from KRUPS, who directed me to have it repaired there. I called and asked what time they were open till, and explained that I had a kettle that needed to be repaired, I had contacted KRUPS and they referred me to him, so can I just bring it in and the repair is covered? He said yes. I had someone drive up there that day to take the kettle in (Within an hour of my phone call) When the kettle was brought there the man working said they only service Krups espresso machines. I then called back quite annoyed because I had expressly said it was a KETTLE that needed to be repaired. He said "Well I didn't know what machine it was" and I said "I told you it was a kettle and that the lid wouldn't close, you should have told me then you wouldn't fix it" His response was "Well, too bad" when I explained that this was not any way to conduct business he replied with "I don't care what you think..." and he hung up on me. There are plenty of other places to have coffee machines serviced in this city that will treat you with respect. Stay away from this place. read more

Owner great to deal with. I've had to use his services twice for our Krup coffee machine and in both cases the issues were caused by user error. He shows you what and why things aren't working properly. Very honest in his approach. read more

I have known Predrag , the owner and the main person at this shop, for 10 years as a customer and he is extremely competent and honest. He even modified my Saeco so it wouldn't keep breaking down - guess he didn't want to keep taking my money. So, I'm very disappointed to see the negative reviews on this business - this doesn't seem right. I would highly recommend him and his store. read more
