I was in Tarrytown for a few days planning a wedding and a solid caffeine fix was essential. Once I found this gem, I stuck with it. Their Thai ice tea with oat milk was my favorite. Great flavor, caffeine and sweetness. Their lattes were expertly made with a nice roasted flavor. Their matcha was weird and I questioned my order after a few sips. Their take is muddy green with a hint of spice; tasty but untraditional. Their pastries are sourced from great local bakeries. Now their abrasive service is almost a deterrent, even for a New Yorker. The staff maintains the same rushed pace even when there is no one else waiting and they shout to you from the cash register if you'd like to add a tip to the card and how much. read more

I love coffee, I the kind of person that don't mind to pay a couple of extra bucks for a good, quality, fresh and delicious coffee I don't know how I did not went to Coffee Labs before. The coffee of this place is so fresh that you can see how they grind the coffee. I love how this place smells, and how they do their arts on the mug of the coffee. They also have a nice selection of pastries. The only bad thing is they have the policy cash only or Debit or over 10$. I have now found our go-to spot for kick ass caffeine drinks while in Sleepy Hollow! Love this coffee shop located right on main street. We dropped in three times while on a weekend getaway just to sit down and enjoy some excellent cappuccino's. You have to get it to stay to enjoy an unexpected surprise. The baristas are incredible artists here! Each time we went there were different pictures inscribed into the frothy layer of cream on our drinks. Check out the pics. Animals, plants, flowers, etc. Very whimsical. Now I can see why they have won many barista contests as they have a jumble of medals hanging above the counter area. The wonderful smell of coffee that hits your nose as you walk in is intoxicating. They roast their own beans here and the machine is right in the middle of the room surrounded by bags of coffee beans. Small selection of pasties to munch on. Prices are fair to good for an independently owned coffee house. The inside is not what you would call warm or hipster, maybe earthy, but it's clean with a bunch of tables and is a nice place to grab a cup, chat, and relax. Really friendly staff and they have live music on weekend nights too. Seems like a really great place that the locals support as one of their own, as the people working there knew many of the regulars. They're probably some of the most cultural places in the county and Coffee Labs fits right into that aesthetic. The inside is very organic - simple decor with some art hanging on the walls, chalkboard menus, and a few tables and chairs. They have a variety of coffee concoctions as well as some pastries. Since I had just finished having coffee, I was looking at their selection of teas. The Hawaiian blend iced tea looked intriguing so I decided on that. The tea was nice - smooth, slightly fruity but the tea taste was there. Service was super fast, they kept the line moving and by the time I was ready to pay my beverage was ready. Tarrytown is my go to place for this time of year. When it starts to get cool out, there is nothing better than being able to tuck in to a hot chocolate or a nice latte. I like it best when it isn't too busy and you can grab a seat to sit for a good hour. When I went yesterday, I had probably the best latte I've had in years. And no, not everyone knows how to make a good coffee just the way you like. I got lucky. On a day like that, sitting inside watching the rain, it was really reminiscent of being in Seattle or somewhere along the west coast. The type of music they were playing made me feel nostalgic but with the rumble of the coffee roaster, ready to leave after a while. It's nice to see and smell the beans being roasted, buts it's extremely awkward to have that kind of production in the middle of where everyone sits. I recommend the layout be changed. They have to lift the heavy buckets up and down the stairs which is situated unsuitably too close to the seating area. I constantly felt like I wanted to help them bring the buckets down and as I was trying to chill. I think it's nice whenever I'm in a store that allows dogs. Ive seen quite a number of cute ones come in. It helps perk up the energy. And it is an energized atmosphere. Not nearly as loud as Starbucks, but it's no poets corner or place to let yourself think. It's best for talking (quietly) with friends on your way to sightsee. The treats are decent and I believe they can warm certain things up. They have lots of milk and coffee varieties. I was really impressed with that latte, and was so tempted to get another. In the fall, I try to at least come once or twice a month. Tarrytown flourishes then. read more

They are open until 10 pm, which is nice especially for a small town. Plenty of street parking. If on the way north again, we would definitely stop to grab some coffee to go. read more

Great coffee, great atmosphere! Coming from Los Angeles (with its wide variety of trendy coffee shops), I've struggled with the lack of cute local coffee shops in the westchester area. Because of this, I was quite happy when I finally found Coffee Labs Roasters, and it has quickly become one of the all-time favorites and certainly my current go-to. It is about a 20 minute drive from my house, but well worth it for a few hours! The staff is friendly, they have free wifi, the prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is mellow and allows me to get work done or chat with friends, and the coffee is DELICIOUS. They also do latte art if your in to that sort of thing, haha. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this welcoming spot is the fact that they welcome dogs inside (coffee labs as in Labrador Retrievers), because when have puppies not made any experience better??
