    what the boat looks like

I was in boston to watch the yankees vs. red sox play. i did not have much time to do anything that day so i looked at fun things i could do while i was there. One of the top things was Codzilla. I am very prone to motion sickness yet this did not trigger it. i had the time of my life with my dad and would 100% do it again. Our guide made it a million times better, she made it very fun and made everyone laugh. if you plan to go make sure you get there about 15-30 minutes early because they only do one trip every hour or so. it gets actually, no way fun and bumby for about 20 minutes. (best part). overall i give it 5 stars i had the time of my life with my dad.

My teen daughter and I had a good time. We sat in front. We got wet, but not soaked. We enjoyed the ride out and the views. Our guide was so awesome. I beleive his name was Steven Diaz. He has a great energy to him. We enjoyed Steven and the codzilla. We would go again.

I've lived in Boston for many years but first time going on it. Definitely a fun ride on the water. The boat goes 40 miles per hour and the turns and bumps make it feel like a rollercoaster. The host and other staff are super friendly and energetic as well. Super safe too, they have seatbelts and handle bars to hold on too as well. Also they give you a free poncho because you'll definitely get wet You also get a great view of city skyline and the other islands around. I gave it a 4 just because it is a bit pricy for the whole experience. I would give a 4.5 if possible though Definitely a fun touristy thing to do though and great for kids!

Great time with kids, family and friends! It might seem scary at first when they say the speed is 40 mph but it is very doable. There aren't too many turns or spins, just the right amount. Be prepared to get wet though unless you wear a poncho. Meredith, our host, was awesome and funny.

This experience is for you if you like thrilling adventures, getting extremely wet, and having lots of fun. Warning: you'll get really wet, I mean soaking wet - they give you ponchos but still, you'll get wet * * * * * This was an incredible experience! We gave Codzilla a try after finding out that there were no more whale watching tickets for sale. Our guide, Ethan, was amazing. He was funny, enthusiastic, and gave us an amazing experience during our ride. It was calm in the beginning, but once we entered the green zone, we started speeding up and having lots of fun. This experience is for you if you like thrilling adventures, getting extremely wet, and having lots of fun. I'm honestly glad we went on this instead of whale watching as that might have been to mundane for me. Tip: the farther you are in the back and the closer you are to the edge, the more wetter you'll get Have fun!

Are seat belts mandatory? I'm fat and don't want to be kicked off because it doesn't fit. Will a normal seat belt extention (think: airline) work?

The trip alone is worth more than $55, so the additional food was just a bonus. Based on the menu I saw online, I was expecting a 3-4 course meal, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dining experience was buffet style. This meant we got to sample a lot of the delicious food! My favorites were the salmon and the chicken, and for dessert, I really enjoyed the peach cobbler (not pictured) because I couldn't resist devouring it before snapping a photo. When the buffet first opens, people rush to the line and it gets a bit crowded. My tip: let the hungrier people go first to avoid the claustrophobia. We also purchased a margarita for two, which was so huge that the three of us couldn't finish it! We even got a margarita mug with the City Cruises logo as a souvenir. There was a DJ playing cool music while we ate, and the servers were fantastic, bringing us drinks and quickly removing empty plates. The best part was undoubtedly the nearly 3-hour cruise around Boston, where we got to see a lot of landmarks. My family loved it, and it will definitely become a tradition whenever they visit Boston.

The boat itself was very big and had three levels. The inside of the boat felt a little on the older side, but I don't think that mattered much since I was outside looking at the water most of the trip. I found the people onboard incredible knowledgeable about the different species of whales and locating the whales. I was able to see multiple whales or see them jump out of the water multiple times. It was really exciting each time a whale was spotted and there was always a rush from one side of the boat to another when one was spotted. I didn't try any of the food onboard, but they had the typical snack foods.

For starters, I upgraded my experience and paid for priority boarding and a window seat. It would have been ideal for them to have a priority boarding section. Instead I walked to the front of the line and ask the staff member how I should board and he said to just wait there. It felt a bit weird making it look as if I was simply cutting in front of everyone else who had been waiting in the cold for a long time. But honestly, I didn't feel too bad because, heck, they could have paid for the privilege too! Once onboard, the yacht was nicely decorated and having the window seat was worth it for the views. They put tables a bit too closely together for my liking, but it didn't make a major negative to the overall experience: The crew were all very nice and the service was pretty good. The drinks were delicious, from the after hour coffee and whiskey beverages to their spin on the old fashioned (added kola sugar and rum for a Caribbean themed variation). The crab and shrimp dip I ordered was also fantastic and I wished they provided extra bread or perhaps some chips to go with all the leftover dip in the bowl. I got champagne too as a part of a romance package, and that too was very nice. As for the thanksgiving buffet? Meh. The stuffing was bad, the macaroni and cheese was okay, the turkey was fairly good albeit a tad dry, and the salmon was solid. And when you were finished with the mediocre-at-best meal, there was time to take in some line dancing with the live DJ. Overall I really enjoyed it and will take another cruise with them some day. I just will temper my expectations relative to the meal!

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM DEPARTURE LOCATION…read more The customer service is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend it whatsoever, especially not for a school trip. I went here for my school trip to Boston and my group got treated horribly. The driver was kind and professional, but the assistant's behavior and the overall organization were very poor. When we boarded the bus, we were told we could sit wherever we wanted, so we took the first four seats on both sides. No one on the bus complained. When the assistant got on, she said we had to sit in assigned seats. One older man politely asked where it said that, since there was nothing mentioned about assigned seating. The assistant responded that it was an assigned system, so there were assigned seats. The man checked his receipt, and the assistant mocked him and gave him a nasty look. Everyone was annoyed that they had to change seats. A couple minutes later, she told my school that we had too many people on the bus. One of our chaperone said, "You said 14 students." She replied, "No, I said 14 of you." My chaperone responded, "Oh, that must have been a misunderstanding." After that, the assistant kept blaming us and did not apologize at all, continuing to give nasty looks and a rude attitude. She also said that if we had a problem, we could report her to her manager (she was counting us as we boarded). Then two people went to a different bus. After that, she said we still had one extra person, so someone had to get off and go on another bus. When she said it again, our only chaperone said, "I don't know what you want us to do. You told us 14 students, and now you're kicking most of us off. Do you want me to get off?" The assistant gave her a nasty look and said a chaperone needed to stay on the bus. So my chaperone had enough and said, "Okay we're all getting off, and I will be reporting you." The assistant mocked her and said, "Go right ahead." As we were getting off the bus, she continued giving us nasty looks. Once we were off, the assistant started arguing with my chaperone, and I said, "No, you're just rude." She was being much ruder than what im saying but--I have never experienced such bad customer service. My group walked away, and the assistant stood with her coworkers, all of them giving us nasty looks. On the other two buses from my school, their assistants were calling us rude and disruptive. Our chaperone ended up paying out of pocket for all 14 of us to go to the New England Aquarium. If you are planning a class trip, I would 100% recommend the aquarium over the duck tour. The staff at the aquarium were very kind, and it was really fun, while 99% of the people (in my school) who went on the duck tour said it was boring and most people slept.
