We are from Texas, so these things were especially helpful given our limited opportunities to view properties in person. Once we decided to make an offer Nasir was not only amazing, but always super responsive. He provided help and offered advice that truly made a difference. For instance, we were looking at financing with a number of mortgage brokers and Nasir urged us to apply for a mortgage with a local credit union in addition to the other brokers which resulted in an interest rate one full percent better than expected. This condo will be a second home for us and since we didn't have furnishings nor the appetite for finding and moving in a great deal of provisions (particularly to the second floor), Nasir urged us to consider making a separate offer on the well appointed furnishings in the unit we were purchasing since the owner had used it as a second home. We took his suggestion and ended up with a bill of sale for virtually all of the contents which allowed us to enjoy our beautiful new home immediately! At closing, our attorney had a last minute conflict and was unable to be with us. Without skipping a beat Nasir brought in an experienced attorney thereby allowing us to close on the property as planned. Guarenteed Rate ended up a nightmare. I bought my first house this year. Sam Reagan is a…read morepreferred partner of my company. When I called Sam he was initially very helpful. He went over all my household financials and told me i scored, but my significant other would not be able to be on the loan. He recommend that I take money from my significant other and deposit it into the bank ASAP as it's a 60 day look back period. I took 45 Benjamins to the bank and deposited it. Do not deposit cash into your account. The look back perod is 2 bank cycles. A gift letter can be written for a check, Not cash. I found this out later... Sam issued me a pre-approval letter and told me to let him know when I found a house. When we started house hunting, I asked to submit my Financials to thier underwriting department. He said he would ( he had my Financials for 8 weeks so far ). I called two days later and he still hadn't sent them over. I then went on Lending Tree, put in my phone number and met George Nguyen with New American Funding, my second opinion. Four days later I found a house I wanted to put in an offer on. I texted Sam with Guaranteed Rate as he requested, the address and the amount. Nothing. I texted George with New American Funding and we closed 30 days later. Andy, Sam's boss called and apologized. Sam and Guarenteed Rate are a preferred partner because he's buddy with one of our executives. Sam never followed through with my loan.

Again , not sure who the boob was who was incompetent but I called .. the office wanted nothing to do with me. I said either youve been hacked or you somehow emailed my wife whose email lay dormant for 3 yrs. They denied it , saying I had no proof. I said tell your boss to remove our names from your email or you'll get a letter from my attorney. They hung up on me. So? are they that incompetent, or are they trolling for extra business? Either way they are full of crap, and one of the dumbest, companies, Ive tried to deal with ever.
