My first-ever chiropractic experience and I'm honestly blown away…read more I came in to see Dr. Sebastian on a Saturday in severe back pain to the point where I couldn't breathe deeply, tie my shoes, or move comfortably. Day by day my mobility was getting worse, and as a dentist, it had started to seriously affect my ability to work and my outlook on the future. If you work long hours during the week, having a provider open on Saturdays is everything--Dr. Sebastian's weekend availability is what made real relief possible for me when I had no other options. From the start, Dr. Sebastian was insightful, professional, and incredibly thorough. He's also a funny guy which helps during times like these. He took the time to understand what was going on and genuinely went the extra mile when I needed help the most. The biggest shock? I felt immediate relief. I walked out feeling like a completely different, renewed person--something I honestly didn't think was possible after how bad things had gotten. If you're in pain, feeling stuck, or losing hope, this is the kind of care that reminds you how powerful the right provider can be. Deeply grateful for this experience. Thank you Dr. Sebastian!

Dr. Roberts is Amazing…read more I am very active and have had many injuries from thing like skateboarding, snowboarding, etc. including a broken back. I have been in chronic pain for a long time. I have been seeing Dr. Roberts for two months and my back has not felt this good for a long time. He has also helped me with my bad eating habits because I would work to hard and not find the time to eat properly. Every time I leave his office I feel great and he is helping me use my muscles correctly so that I do not have to go as much. Plus everyone that is there is very nice and helpful. I am writing this review because when it comes to choosing a chiropractor you want to be able to go see someone that will help you NOW and not some jackass that pops your neck and pokes you every week with no results. Dr. Roberts is the real deal and I really appreciate that he has helped me live a healthier life with less pain!!

I began weekly appointments around 33 weeks, and thankfully, my baby successfully flipped and got into the perfect position for birth. I truly believe the adjustments with Dr. Sage played a huge role in helping make that happen. I went on to have the vaginal birth of my dreams! I only pushed for about 20 minutes and was at the hospital for less than three hours before my baby was in my arms. It was such a positive, empowering birth experience, and I fully credit Dr. Sage and the care I received with helping me get my baby into the right position. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Sage when I did. She was kind, supportive, and made me feel confident throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend her to any expecting mom, especially anyone dealing with a breech or transverse baby!

Other than one other time, I haven't written a Yelp review in years, but I feel like I need to…read morewrite this. I've been to six or seven chiropractors in the past year. Dr. Leah is, by far, the best, and the most honest. I recently went to a guy in Solana Beach because he had a spine stretching machine (Dr. Leah is always booked, also, so I wanted to go to someone right away for my back pain--I'm an impatient person). The guy told me that the only way I'd get better was to come into his office three times per week for 8 weeks, and use his spinal stretching machine. He also told me that I couldn't do anything active except walk on flat ground for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. I drove home from there, super depressed and discouraged. Well, after sleeping on it, I came to the conclusion that the guy was full of crap. He also wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to do it "his way." He seemed like a nice guy, but please. Dr. Leah not only gives awesome adjustments, but tells me how to cure my bulging discs. She's honest in telling me that nothing can actually revert them back to how I was 35 years ago, but she said I don't have to get worse, I don't have to suffer in pain so much, and I should still be able to surf, run, do yoga, play tennis, all the things I love. I love that she's a sports-minded practitioner too. She has a positive attitude and is super friendly and likable. She's efficient, too. I am writing this because I found her on Yelp and I want to pay it forward. No one should be debilitated from back pain. I cannot thank Dr. Leah enough for all she's done for me. I have so much more hope, and can do the things I love. She's a keeper.

Dr. Leah Helin fits all these criteria and a lot more. I have seen maybe ~15 chiropractors all together in my life, Dr. Helin is the best chiropractor I have been to. Yes, she is expensive and we visited a couple others before finally landing there. The first hour visit will count as probably about 3 or 4 visits at another chiropractor. She is that smart, targeted and efficient. The whole family goes with great success. The biggest success is that one child that was told by two orthopedic specialists that surgery was needed, completely avoided surgery because Dr. Helin was part of the treatment. A 3-year old pain I had was identified, targeted, given exercises in ~15 minutes; she helped more in those minutes than 12 hours of physiotherapy. The now better targeted exercises keep me improving a lot faster. Go see her, you won't regret it.

I was playing on a Sunday indoor soccer league and ended up tearing my left calf three times. I was trying to figure out why it was happening. Through this process I went to a "specialist" within my health care company and the only advice he gave me was to ice massage it. I knew there had to be a better way to rehab and avoid or minimize these tears. Fortunately, I met Dr. Corey at a business meetup and when one of these calf tears happened I went to him for physical therapy. It was eye opening. Using several techniques and a few visits he was able to rehab my calf. He also gave me instructions for different exercises to do in order to strengthen the calf. I've spent alot of time figuring out how to properly warm up as to avoid continued injuries and they have been fewer. Over the last year I've been playing soccer three days a week and only had a couple minor calf issues. One just happened a month ago on my right calf, so I went to see Dr. Corey for five sessions to get back to normal. If you have any muscular issues (or back issues...he is a chiropractor) I highly recommend you go see Dr. Corey. No physical signs indicating heart, lungs, or stroke. I guessed that it was a panic attack and it fit the criteria. Today, Dr. Miller found that my stomach had moved up and was blocking my diaphragm from extending. He worked on that area, pushing the stomach down away from the diaphragm. I could immediately breathe much deeper than I had been able to before. My point in telling you this is that you may want to first check it out by him.
