Adam is an enthusiastic and genuine mentor! I was having some trouble ironing out my interviewing skills, went through a couple rough interviews when a friend recommended Code3Coaching with Adam. He is very thorough and honest in how to improve on your interview skills, and incredibly supportive through your whole process. The interview process was intimidating and blurry at best, and Adam helped me overcome those challenges I had been wrestling with for awhile. Adam will tailer a session to each department you are testing for and give you advice if you even shoot him a text so you can think out questions and ideas you have with him. I used Fortino's fire and EMS Training for panel interview prep and it helped give me insight into a more effective manner to approach fire department panel interviews. After multiple training sessions both medium group and small group I felt a better understanding of not what the, "right answer or response" the department I applied to was looking for, rather the, "right response for me personally." I was new to considering a career in the fire service and I came to Adam for career advice and interview preparation. My only prior interviews were in the business world, which I soon found out is nothing like those in the fire service. I was intimidated to ask for advice at stations from people I had no connection to. Adam provided me the mentorship that I will never be able to thank him for. It was amazing to have an active firefighter guide me through the process, and help me communicate my life story in a firefighter interview setting. He provided me a packet to fill out, that became a foundational resource. Code 3 coaching was crutial to my success in getting hired with my dream department. My issue was that i didnt know how to organize various life experiences so my answers werent very clear or structured. Adams approach is extremely effective.
