She had ONLY vomited once while there in your care and I was told "she died of a seizure this morning" I went to your hospital less than 45 min later and she was in vigor mortis! She had died several hrs prior to your staff calling me. You've blocked me from posting on your page on Facebook for calling you out. No courtesy call to explain that she had a seizure from more than likely hypoglycemia which is PREVENTABLE especially in YOUR CARE! When my husband and I went to see her she was solid, cold, her eyes were matted from crying and her bedding was wet!!!!!!! How disgusting! She deserved some dignity! She was my therapy dog! I loved her like my own child! How can your staff be so cold! I am requesting her medical records. The audacity to have me pay 1100.00 dollars and then you still request 43.00 plus dollars?? You killed my baby! Can you tell me with all honestly I will get HER ashes? I wasn't allowed to bring her home to bury her at my sisters ranch. We were told she was contagious. Explain to me why I was told admitting her in your care she would be monitored closely??? That's a down right lie! Had she been monitored you would have seen her get lethargic! Not from dehydration as she was getting fluids via IV. Or, was that a lie also?? I was charged for the most neglectful care ever. I'm disgusted! I'm and in pain! Block this message too! I will continue to speak out for my baby?

Sis, did not have a car to get Sugar to a vet right away, so I took to yelp to find a reputable place to take her as soon I got back in town 2 days later. In the meantime, my Sister did her best to brace the leg, in case it was broken and made Sugar a comfortable as possible. I get home and take Sugar to her appointment with Dr. Linn. She takes one look at the leg, which his a little swollen, and states that she has no problem taking an X-ray of the leg, but to save me some money, she refers me to the Live Oak Animal Hospital down the road, since her in house orthopedic vet is actually on vacation. She basically did not want to charge me for an X-ray if it was possibly broken and there was no one that specialized in broken bones there to really help. She gave me the number to Live Oaks and explained that they were usually pretty busy but because they were a larger capacity animal hospital, with more orthopedic specialists on hand, they would be better equipped to help. Dr. Linn and her staff did not even charge me for the consult so that impressed me that they were not out to do a quick cash grab. I would certainly go back to this office again for regular vet needs for Sugar since they were so kind and empathetic.

We had been a patient for probably 30 years and we needed a place to quarantine our Husky for an event that was not her fault! The managers would not take her and the girl on the phone was extremely rude. The manager said it was not the place for here! What! We had gone there for 30 years. You know my Husky! We had to take her to a vet out of Lubbock. I do not recommend this hospital any longer.

After reading reviews I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did. They were all so nice from the very first phone call. They treated my pupper with kindness, respect and compassion. The Dr. was so thorough and explained everything. It turned out one of her hips was like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. She was in pain when we went in and during our visit had a clear picture of what to expect in her future. 3 days later she was pretty much back to her old self. They were all so wonderful I decided to bring the other 2 dogs to make sure they were in good shape. Definitely would recommend them. They were so very different from the vets in Indiana. Keep up the great work and superior service!

I believe the person I talked to all those years ago was Rachel, but I could be wrong. In the past I have been shamed to the point of tears by a vet*, so I was nervous about my first visit to the clinic with my cat of three years, nervous up until the point I met the vets Dr. Priya A. Dahanukar and Dr. Emily N. Shockey. They were calm and comfortable around cats. The whole experience was great. When I went up front to pay, they gave me a first time customer discount and some free advantage (they also did this when I brought in a new cat several years later . . . I guess the cats are the real customers ;-). I also met Dr. Key once before I had to move and in that brief visit he gave me a number of a person to interview for an article I was interested in writing! Over the five and a half years I went to Key Animal Clinic I never had a bad experience and I never had to wait that long to get in, which is nice, considering the mixed (cat and dog) waiting room. If I were a millionaire I would hire these vets as my personal on call cat healers, since I'm not a millionaire I'll settle for writing them a stellar review. Love to all the staff, techs, and vets at Key Animal Clinic, Katie *My bad experience was at Abilene Animal Hospital with Dr. Early

My son and I are victims of domestic violence that's still happening today. In February of 2024,…read moreabout a week after I started a new job, after being unemployed for about 7 months, one of our emotional support cats, Lucky, was sick so we took him to this vet clinic. They completely refused to work with us at all with the cost of the surgery that he needed. And my credit was horrible. So they coerced us into surrendering him. Then they killed him. About 2 months later, we were homeless. From April 2024 to February 2025. In July of 2024, we had to put our other emotional support cat down. He was 18 years old and he was suffering. So after that, we didn't have any emotional support cats to help us through that extremely difficult time. We're still extremely heartbroken and furious about how HORRIBLE we were treated at Live Oak and we honestly don't trust vets anymore because of them. It's extremely cruel to steal someone's emotional support cat in the first place but instead of caring for him, they killed him. After finally being able to move into a home in February of 2025, we rescued 2 new emotional support cats. We could've had them both spayed for free through a voucher program through the pound. But we would've had to take them to Live Oak. There's absolutely no way that we will trust them ever again!!! We were able to get them both spayed at P.E.T.S. Clinic. And yes, we paid for both of them to be spayed. Live Oak claimed that we didn't try to get financial assistance. Of course I did, even though I knew I would be denied because my credit was bad. And if we could've afforded the $1400 surgery for Lucky, then we wouldn't have ended up homeless like we did. And they completely refused any donations towards the cost of Lucky's vet bill from people after I posted about the situation on Facebook so that we could get him back. That's how EVIL these people are!!!! They thought we didn't care and didn't try to find a way to afford the $1400 surgery even though we ended up homeless less than 2 months later, on April 1, 2024. And NO, that is NOT an April Fools joke!!!! I also was so upset and stressed out that I passed out at the duplex that we were renting at the time, we were renting it through McDougal and they refused to renew our lease, and I was taken to Covenant in an ambulance. Because my credit was bad, no one else would rent to us, so we ended up homeless. I received a good amount of money for my tax refund. I knew that Live Oak wouldn't give Lucky back to us, even if we could pay them back. When we became homeless, we stayed in some hotels for awhile. We were supposed to rent an apartment at Stonebridge at Ironton, but they denied our applications because we couldn't afford a 2 bedroom apartment and we requested a one bedroom apartment. After we ran out of money from my tax refund, we stayed at the Salvation Army. We lied to them about my son's age because he's gay and he wouldn't have been safe in the men's shelter. Even before they found out that we lied about my son's age, they bullied and harassed us the entire time that we were there. And they absolutely refused to help us improve our situation, like they're supposed to and claim they do. We've had to completely cut all of our entire "family" out of our lives and disowned them for our safety. My former "brother" is extremely similar to David Koresh with his brainwashing capabilities and his ginormous fake persona. So our family now is me, my son, and our 2 emotional support cats. Our cats aren't just cats. They're our babies and our only family!!!!! And Live Oak intentionally killed one of our babies, our family.
