I believe the practice of Feng Shui is to observe how your environment is triggering your nervous system and to make inspired changes to create a healthy home or office to support your best life! The architectural design of your home AND the placement of your beautiful decor may be triggering your nervous system in harmful ways. Through years of study, I recognize those triggers, know how they will affect you, and I will offer you Energy Design Solutions to mitigate them. Wouldn't it be delightful (and healing) to know that your home is triggering your nervous system to relax, rejuvenate, rest, connect, create, laugh, play, enjoy and so much more? Once you have a healthy and intentional environment, you will feel more focused, present, creative, inspired, and open, so you may make good choices, see new opportunities, thrive in work and love, and create the life you so desire. How may I support you in your own home or office for your most inspired life?

Thank you Janani!…read more Previously a complete skeptic of the practice of Feng Shui, I have changed my tune. I had just moved into one of my rentals in order to remodel, and for some reason, HATED being there -which was odd, since the condo is nice enough. After expressing my dilemma to a friend, she gave me a gift of a Feng Shui clearing by Janani Lucas. Figuring clearing simply meant clearing out my space, I discovered it included much more. Janani not only gave me tips on color, furniture placement, and other "mundane cures" that were SPECTACULAR, she also did extensive meditation and "transidental (spiritual) clearing" -all the while teaching me about the practice of Feng Shui and explaining what she was doing. I instantly felt refreshed when she had finished. And now, two weeks later, my house feels CLEAR. I want to be there. I can't explain it, but I just feel more comfortable and refreshed in my home (and so does my skeptical partner!)

We had an exceptional experience working with Gwen to fully furnish our new home in Mount Baker…read more From the start, she was incredibly thoughtful in her approach--incorporating art we had already collected and using our existing dining table as a centerpiece to ground the design. She built everything out from there in a way that felt cohesive, elevated, and still deeply personal to us. Her communication, efficiency, sourcing, and design aesthetic are truly outstanding. She handled a large, complex project with impressive speed and attention to detail, and the end result exceeded our expectations. What stands out most is how livable and enjoyable the space is. We've hosted many gatherings since moving in, and both we and our guests consistently appreciate the design. We've received countless compliments from friends and family, and it's genuinely a pleasure to experience her work every day. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Gwen again and are already looking forward to the opportunity!

Afters years of moving from place to place, both near and far, I settled into a unique loft space in what was once a classroom. As my own tastes evolved, I wanted to realize my aesthetic potential to match the wonders of my high ceilings, giant windows and large living room. I knew what I liked, but lacked the expertise to replace my tired furnishings with new pieces and create an innovative and functional floor plan. It's one thing to look at countless design magazines with pictures of professionally staged rooms and quite another to pull things together unless you are talented in ways that I knew I was not. So I looked online at local decorators' websites and carefully scrutinized project examples. I liked the photos on Spatial Matters's site because they included small spaces inhabited by one person, like me. Christina Collins-Pezzner, the artful, ingenious proprietor, came to my place for a consult. Right away I was struck by her expertise, creativity and lack of pretension (a major hazard in the design world). She quickly created a plan, measured like a fiend and photographed my space. Like a sorceress, Christina inserted the photos into a software-executed magician's box, out of which popped a mock-up of a dream come true: a jewel box with echoes of Gustave Klimt, which was one of my goals. I was floored. Despite all the inevitable delays and extra obstacles of COVID-19, Christina and her crew sourced and acquired wonderful, unique pieces that fit my budget. I now live in a perfect place. My friends and neighbors walk in and gasp. And let me tell you: if you have to shelter in place and have the means to do it, redecorate and stay put in splendor!!!!!
