Solid spot to catch some sports in city center. Showed 3 premier league matches and f1 simultaneously. Perfect spot for sports fans from around the world. Alot of seating and great service. Cant comment on the food but drink options were plentiful.

The service was lacking big time. Not sure how it makes sense when where we're 3 of us and we only got 2 napkins and 2 hand wipes. The fries were undercooked and not particular to my liking. We just wanted a snack with our drinks and we were going to get 1 basket of fries and asked how big was it and the waitress said we should get 2. That was wayyyyy too much! We would have been fine with just 1 basket and they were not even that great. Our waitress didn't check up on us but it was like she was the only one working while the other 2 just stood in the door way talking. It was mediocre here and I wouldn't come back if a I ever find myself in Amsterdam.

I went to coco's outback as soon as I arrived in my first night in Amsterdam. I knew it was just what I was looking for after a long flight in: laid back, good music, quality food. Also, this place turns into a bumpin' club around 10:30/11pm - so keep that in mind when you go! The service was very friendly, the portion sizes were massive & the espresso martini was perfectly balanced! The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because the chicken was a little dry. The sauce was also just sour cream with a bit of chives & then a salsa - which seemed a bit odd. Regardless- great place to stop for a bite & drink when you first arrive in Amsterdam !!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere with plenty of screens and projectors to watch sport (we watched ajex game) afterwards a DJ kept us entertained until karaoke started. Food was good and service was fast considering how packed it was.

Excellent bar area seating. Couches for seats!

Crazy busy on NFL Sunday but super responsive and awesome staff. We're from out of town and saw on their website that they would play a game if space allowed upon request. So I emailed and they said to show up at 1800, and ask upon arrival. We did, and sure enough we scored a super comfortable leather loveseat couch, facing our game. Amazing staff and great customer service. Once it got more crowded, food service was slower to come out but they were fast on the drinks! Food is delixious and the classic wings are HUGE!!! We highly recommend this place for NFL Games. There are a ton of TV's everywhere with lots of tables and seats. Its a great place!

My bf and I were looking for a place to have a late dinner near our hotel at Rembrandtplein, and although there were several dining options in this plaza, we chose this restaurant because it looked the most lively on a Monday night. There was a sign on the wall that said 50% off food all Monday. For real?? Awesome, then count us in for sure!! ;) It was a nice summer evening, so we opted to sit outside. The service was really slow. Like, REALLY slow. Slow to the point where our server took so long to take our drink orders that it soon became time for the second round of happy hour, so we didn't mind getting our drinks at a discounted price. :) We weren't in a hurry to go anywhere afterwards anyway. I got a refreshing pina colada that came with a big, juicy wedge of fresh pineapple. Since we were in Amsterdam, my bf ordered the bitterballen, authentic Dutch snacks made from deep fried breaded beef ragu. 8 bitterballen came with a mustard dip. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of bitterballen, but these were hot and crunchy with creamy insides and quite tasty. Very good with the mustard dip. My bf ordered a rib eye steak, and I got the Ayers rock salad in an attempt to try to eat something healthier after being a gluttonous pig the day before at the Rollende Keukens food truck festival. I was really excited to try kangaroo meat for the first time on my salad, and it was pretty good--juicy, lean, and tender. The salad itself was also quite yummy, with lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, various greens, warm feta cheese, and pine nuts. The menu said garlic croutons, but in reality, it was two crunchy pieces of garlic toast, which I didn't mind at all. :) The salad was quite delicious with a light touch of honey & mustard dressing, but the feta cheese came in ginormous chunks with were really salty and kind of overpowered the dish. I'm giving this place 4 stars because although the food wasn't spectacular, it really hit the spot, there was a cool ambiance just to chill and hang out, they had an extensive drink menu with lots of cocktail options, and you really can't beat the price at 50% off all food on Mondays!! :) :) :)

Line to get into Coco's during the Argentina v Netherlands

So much fun! Great atmosphere for those looking to enjoy any game. Younger crowd. Quick service but get there early to grab a good spot!

It wasn't a great experience but not a bad one either. I sat outside in their terrace which has some nice awnings when and if it rains. They have built in heaters in the top of them. The service wasn't bad. There were two waitresses working a large area being assisted by two others. They were pleasant and friendly. The menu has some interesting selections like focaccia bread with different toppings, baked potatoes with different fillings, several burgers, ribs, salads and more. I had one of the baked potatoes with their famous chili. It was actually two baked potatoes and a salad. An interesting thing to note is that they mention their famous chili but I didn't see a bowl or a cup of it on their menu. They have an extensive happy hour with lots of cheap drinks and a very large selection of beers. I got there before happy hour and ordered a gin & tonic. It was served with the gin over ice in a glass with the tonic served separately. I assume they forgot the lime. What's interesting to me here is that while on the menu it states the price for a gin and tonic along with a happy hour price I was charged separately 4,60 euro for the gin and also charged an addtional 3,00 euro for the tonic. On the menu it reads gin & tonic implying one price for the drink. I think the waitress might have been confused. The meal was okay though it has promise. I'll have to go back to reassess it. It is a popular place. Some speak well of the food. The waitress went out of her way to get my dog a bowl of water filling a champagne bucket with water. It was a lot but a very nice gesture. They're also dog friendly.

You need to have a crazy evening? Watch Sport Show ? Some Aussi Fast Food ? or good Burger ? Come here, if you do not mind high price drinks - Service can have a wide range from perfect friendly, funny and good up to worse and raugh. But we was in a group had fun and used the messy Monday Deal with 50% discount on food. That was a deal. Food and Check at the end was very good.

Since this place was on Rembrandtplein I wasn't expecting much...in terms of size or flavor. But I got the not-so-huge beef burger with bacon and cheese. It was huge to me! And it was a really good burger. I would actually go back just for the burger! The fries are chunky but pretty good. The happy hour deals are really good and so are the drinks! I was very happy with my tall cocktail for 4.50. And it's a great spot for people-watching! Go here to chill out after work, on the weekend, to party or whatever. Great drinks with great bar food, this is a great spot in Amsterdam. Filled with locals and tourists alike, you will feel right at home!

And they brought seconds, thirds and more if you wanted (meat only). Outside, it was pleasant enough. Inside, like an American dive bar - not an appealing atmosphere from my perspective. But the real issue is that these greasy ribs were a gut-bomb. Yes, you got exactly what you ordered -- but in the end, save this for when you're at home in the states and the ribs are better quality. These were ok, but pigging out on greasy ribs of middling quality really isn't that great an experience, is it? There are so many good local alternatives -- if you long for American food, I guess this might be a temporary answer, but I think you'd do well to go elsewhere.

Ok.. been in Amsterdam 5 days. To be honest, the customer service has been fair... BUT TODAY... was…read morethe worst ever!! Went to this "cafe" to watch the NBA Christmas games. The server was so clueless that even though Sangria was on the menu... she had no idea what we were talking about and kept having to ask the bartender( will discuss her later ). After numerous reminders, and her asking us to close out every time we placed an order... again... came here to watch at least 2 NBA games... we decided to order food. Nothing difficult... an order of chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. After an extended amount of time... the tenders arrived... and we were told the fries were right behind... Well, think you can guess... 25 minutes later.. NO FRIES! When we asked... we were told that there was an error with the order and the fries would be out soon. Wait for it......... 10 minutes later... no fries! But then, we see fries .. and the guy comes out, and gives it to the group that just paid their bill and were getting ready to leave( they took them of course) !! Is this joke? We ask him if they are ours, and the bartender informs him that they are. At this point, there has just been too many negatives, so I decided to approach the bartender(Fatima). Yeah, I know you may think she would be apologetic, trying to right the insane amount of wrongs..... NOT!! I told her that at this point, at the VERY least, she should not charge us for this fries.. given the numerous errors and that it took over 35 minutes for the fries to make it to our general area..lol.. and if we hadn't said anything... that group would have walked out with them. Fatima tries to explain this and that.. but in the end.. chalked it up to training new people. When I asked if that was my fault, she HAD THE NERVE to respond, "is it my fault"? Hell yeah it is!!!!!!! You are running the bar... I'm a customer... take responsibility. That's what a business that wants to succeed and make money does!! Lesson learned... stay away from this place... it smells like the sewer, service is clearly AWFUL, and there's no accountability for their screw ups!! Only saving grace was that Quincy was nice and was actually helpful.... what a concept!! Horrible place!! DUTCH TRANSLATION SO THE LOCALS KNOW: Oké... ik ben nu 5 dagen in Amsterdam. Vreselijke plek!!

Had a blast here, thanks to Eddy, the owner of Eetcafe de Jordaan!…read more We were on our way to a sports bar, to watch the Netherlands soccer team, AFC Ajax play against Real Madrid, which was a big deal in town, obviously! While we were walking to a sports bar we found on Yelp, we walked by Eetcafe de Jordaan and saw all the patrons glued to the TV, yelling and screaming. That's all we needed, to make a bee-line for this place instead. Best decision that night! As we walked to the Eetcafe, the owner, Eddy was passing out appetizers to all the patrons, including us, as we were walking in. There had been a commercial break, so everyone was hanging out 'til the game started again. Fortunately, we found the very last table by the bar and ordered some drinks. (Eddy later said that he always makes complimentary appetizers during an event, like a game or celebration, because his bar is like inviting people in his home.) I wanted to order a shot of whiskey with this Dutch cider I was drinking, so Eddy was helping me figure out which to order. He legit gave me a shot of four different whiskeys 'til I decided on one. Holy shit! Best customer service. He was getting to know us, Americans and after the game, recommended places to see, what to eat and what to avoid. He seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us and his other customers in the bar. Throughout the entire time at the bar and during the game, the vibe was awesome. It was way better than we expected. Sure, we could've settled on a sports bar, but watching the hometown soccer team in a hometown, locals bar seemed much better. I'm so happy we found Eetcafe de Jordaan and met Eddy! It made us feel like we were a part of the local community! I can't recommend a visit to Eetcafe de Jordaan enough.
