My wife and I went on Valentine's weekend and it was absolutely PACKED. I waited close to 30 minutes... and yes, it was 100% worth it. We ordered 11 lbs of prime ranchera plus some chorizos and fed about 20 people in our family. Not a single complaint. The ranchera was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The chorizo had that bold, authentic flavor that elevates any carne asada. What really stood out though was the management that weekend. They were handing out flowers, chocolates, and even giving away their hats to customers. That level of generosity and appreciation during such a busy time says a lot about how they treat their community. Our favorite burritos are the Baja King Burrito and the Surf and Turf Burrito. We've also tried their carne asada fries, which were some of the best we've had, and the shrimp and octopus cocktail, which was also really good--fresh, flavorful, and a great option when you want something lighter than tacos or a burrito. The only reason I took off one star was because of one Taco Tuesday experience when the fish tacos were $1.75. The fish tasted like it had been fried in old or overused oil. I understand they may have been handling a lot of orders that day, and thankfully it only happened once. Every other visit has been consistently good. Another big plus is that you can call ahead and place your order by phone. That's what we usually do, so the food is ready when we arrive.
