ice cream 2 flavors ($8.5) - game changer! I am not a coconut lover but i still wanted to give this a try and now i cannot stop thinking about it - the coconut ice cream was light and got actual coconut bits in it; never had anything like this before - second flavor we got was sweet potato ube, which i personally liked more; it was super refreshing and not too sweet rating: 4.7/5 - pretty high rating because it changed my mind about coconut ice cream and i loved every bite - it operates out of a truck but it still got a really cute ambiance; it almost felt like i was in a tropical game simulation just casually getting my ice cream - quick & standard service; nothing to note IG: @nom.noms.only

Perfect stop along the Road to Hāna. A few cute picture spots, enough seats (and more coming under construction), cats, and the world's best non-dairy ice cream. The Strawberry Banana and Pineapple Banana were delicious. The service was quick and super friendly. * no restrooms

I'm not even exaggerating when I say this is the BEST ice cream I've ever had, vegan or not. We first ordered a 3-scoop of pineapple banana (favorite), coconut, and soursop. Right after finishing, we went back in line to get the ube and coffee toffee. The flavors of the ice cream taste identical to the fruit, nothing artificial. The ice cream is also served from a cute yellow camper van and overall has a fun vibe. I'm so glad we didn't skip this spot on our road to Hana!

What an absolute treat! We stopped here after our drive on the Road to Hana and I'm SO GLAD that we did. They serve vegan coconut ice cream that is so dang good I could barely believe it. They also have a variety of coffee drinks and small snacks/sodas for purchase. There was only one gal working (who was amazing!), so be patient and show your aloha. I promise this ice cream is well worth the wait! They have plenty of seating outside for you to eat as well, but do keep in mind there are no public restrooms here!

This was our last stop on the way back from the Road to Hana. It's open later than a lot of spots along the way, so we appreciated that we were able to make it. It wasn't too busy then either. It was a really refreshing treat for the end of a warm day. Being that it's made with coconut milk, it didn't feel as heavy as regular ice cream. I had the mango and the original coconut. The mango was good, but the coconut was amazing! I wish Coconut Glen's had a truck in San Diego! Cute little area. Make sure to stop by on your trip through!

Cutest little ice cream truck along the Road to Hāna. Even if it seems like a touristy place, the flavor & portion size make it totally worth the hype. I got the coconut ice cream & let me tell you.. it's non-dairy, but still super creamy! What made it even better were the chewy toasted coconut flakes mixed in, giving it the perfect texture. I paired it with mango, which was refreshing, fruity, & had no artificial taste. So light, yet so satisfying! The person working the truck was super friendly & gave us the scoop on their popular flavors. Everyone in our group was happy with their choices! They have a cute seating area & photo op setup, so it's the perfect break from driving. If you're doing the Road to Hāna, this is a must-stop. Don't skip it!

Very large and colorful stop. Heard lots of positives about this place, but stopped at another ice cream place shortly before ( mistakenly) and theirs was one of the best I've ever had... That said, we made it a point to stop on our return and it was late and they were closing but still let us buy ube and coconut ice cream. It was good; never had vegan ice cream before, but appreciate that they sell it. Two cute chihuahuas too: Ginger and Lily.

We stopped here to try some ice cream made from coconuts. We tried the chocolate, coconut and lilikoi ice cream. It is truly farm to table. He grows fresh fruits and uses them to make the ice cream. My favorite was the coconut and chocolate.

Great stop at the road to Hana! They have coconut water and can split the coconut once you drink the water so you can eat some too. I got the coconut ice cream which was refreshing and my friend got the mystery ice cream which was had a lovely Hawaiian tropical taste! No samples but it's good on a hot day!

Coconut Glen's in Maui is one of those hidden gems that you're so glad you stopped for. Tucked along the Road to Hana, it has such a cool, laid-back jungle vibe that instantly makes you feel like you've found something special. The coconut ice cream is incredible--rich, creamy, and made from fresh coconuts right there. You can really taste the difference, and it's easily one of the most unique and refreshing treats on the island. The toasted coconut on top just takes it to another level. What makes the experience even better is the setting and the people. It feels local, authentic, and unpretentious--just good vibes all around. It's the perfect place to take a break, cool off, and enjoy something you won't find anywhere else. If you're doing the Road to Hana, this stop is 100% worth it.

Chocolate Chunk and Original Coconut Ice Cream

This may be the best ice cream I have ever had. I got the chocolate chunk and original coconut. Wow. So good and so refreshing. I definitely want to try more flavors. The owner was so kind and literally started chopping up a full on coconut for us. The area is super cute with colorful benches and animal friends!

Pineapple Banana and mystery flavor (ube)

Who knew vegan ice cream could taste THIS good? We stopped at Coconut Glen's on the Road to Hana and tried the coconut, passion fruit, mystery (ube), and pineapple banana flavors. My fav flavor was passion fruit! The ice creams were all creamy and refreshing. The vibe here is super chill, with cats lounging around the tables! A small note: there's no restroom on site.

Non Dairy n Vegan but tastes soooooo good :) Find the ice cream truck opposite the Napili Plaza…read morewhere the Napili Farmers Market is, you can't miss the colourful VW. Good range of flavors with lilikoi, chocolate, etc, even a mystery flave!! It is deliciously creamy and you can mix flavours in your cup. At $8 a double scoop it might be pricey but totally worth it for a locally made treat. Want a coconut water to go with it? You can have a freshly picked coconut opened in front of you island style with a machete. Feel like coconut candy? They have that too. Easy free parking, picnic tables under shady trees and delicious ice cream, what more could you want?

Sometimes, when I stay on west Maui, I think about their treats, so close yet so far. But no longer! 13 days ago, they opened up a truck location, overseen by Matthew himself! There is a coconut glen's now right there by Honoapiilani hwy and Napilihau street! We got the classic coconut and mint chip, which was refreshing. There are tables there under the shade of some Norfolk pines to enjoy a snack. Matthew was super nice and friendly, and sounded excited to get things started at the new location. Now I can have coconut glens whether I'm west in Napili or east towards Hana! Mahalo!

My personal favorite was the lilikoi cheesecake- texture and flavor wise it's a dream. The staff is super nice and will let you sample as many flavors as you want (and they're generous samples too!). Another nice thing- they let you split scoops! The scoops are pretty big so it was perfect for the second time we went being able to do that and get 2 flavors. The shop itself is cute and has some seating inside as well as 2 tables outside. From the other reviews it sounds like we lucked out and never had crowds there. Soooo good I will be recommending this spot to everyone, and next time I'm back in Maui I'll be back!

One of the best desserts I've had in all my life was here at Island Cream Co.! I am a huge banana…read morefan, and when I tasted the Banana Maui, their version of bananas foster, I thought I might fall over. It's vanilla ice cream (though I changed mine to banana ice cream so I could go totally overboard) covered in fresh bananas, brandy and banana liqueur, and two pieces of banana bread stuffed into each side of the cup. Indescribably delicious! Some places would make the banana bread an afterthought in a dessert like this, thinking that the rest of the dish would be so good that the banana bread could be just anything halfway decent. Not so here. The banana bread in this dessert was some of the best we had on the island during our entire two-week stay! I can't comment on the rest of the menu, since we didn't try anything else, but people seem to rave about other items here, too. The make-your-own shave ice at the Ultimate Shave Ice station seems to be a unique take on a Hawaii staple, and it's up to you whether you prefer an expert to be making yours rather than guessing at how to make it yourself, but if you want to be the boss, well, here you go! And it's definitely a hit with kids, as you might imagine. And their pineapple cream claims to be a much better and natural version of Dole Whip, so it's probably worth a try! Located in a modern strip mall, service here is friendly, and you may need to wait in line for a little while, depending on when you come. Not a ton of seating inside or out, but we did score a table outside and enjoyed our dessert in the beautiful Maui weather. The prices are about what you'd expect, no more and no less, and worth every penny! So do not pass up this dessert spot when you come to this part of the island. In my opinion, you won't regret stopping in!
