You can tell that a lot of love has been put in the decor because it evokes a feeling of seaside relaxation. The cottage is impeccably clean. The kitchen has a coffee, tea maker and mini fridge. It also has two beach chairs and umbrella. The beach is literally across the street. The outside patio is serene with a beautiful koi pond. I always wanted to stay on a boat (smaller than a ship), a bucket list item. They come up on searches and many look suspiciously dirty. The the Shangrila came up on my search and I said why not. It was the cheapest and surely not the most expensive. But, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and the cleanliness. It was ready for everything fully stocked in the kitchen including a dishwasher. Kudos whoever choose the bedding. What a great nights sleep!! What kind of pillows are on the bed!!!! (Forgot to look). Convenient restaurant with amazing key lime pie! Only feedback is there was a problem with our third party booking site getting the information to us the check-in, as there is no one there. Easy call to the staff taken care of in less than 5 minutes. Remove dead plants, also, people sailing through don't always follow "no wake" rules!! Only in the day did we experience that and not that often. This is a new favorite thing to do!!! We plan on returning!

Buyer beware! I had a five night stay booked at this property in one of the townhomes. When I…read morearrived, I immediately realized that the home was not as clean as it should have been. The furniture was grossly stained, the bed in the master bedroom was so rickety that even a small amount of pressure caused the whole thing to sway, Lightbulbs were blinking in the master bathroom, and dead bugs were on the floor. I immediately called their guest services number and spoke with a gentleman who was actually quite helpful and compassionate about the situation. I sent them the same photos. I have posted below, and they agreed that the property should not have been in that condition. They offered to show me a Condo which was smaller as an alternative. When we toured it prior to deciding if we would stay or not, we saw the same issues with gross stains on the furniture, and gooey smudges on the wall. We refuse to accept that as an alternative, as it was not at all an improvement. Their final attempt at providing a solution was at a newer property, which was nice in terms of its condition, but it was farther away from where we needed to stay making the drive inconvenient for us. It was also a two bedroom apartment when we had five people and two dogs on our booking. Because I booked through hotels.com, the property refused to work with me directly on the issues and told me it had to go through the booking agent. I requested a refund through hotels.com on Sunday, and it was not until Thursday that the property even bothered to reply and offered a 25% refund for a trip that I never even took. Their customer service agents are like gatekeepers and refused to allow you to speak to upper management. They only divert you back to hotels.com, which I understand from a policy perspective, but from a customer service perspective, it leaves much to be desired. I believe that because they offered me options, none of which were good ones, they believe they did not need to provide me with a refund. Just know that if you choose to book here, that if something goes wrong, you will likely not be compensated. We did not stay a single night and left within hours of checking in. They still believe a refund was not needed. Find anywhere else to stay but here.

The manager is a nice young man and was very helpful with helping us get our RV backed in and he assisted us when we had issues with getting one of our RV stabilizers down. With a large RV we were able to navigate the route into the park and into our site. Hookup was easy and we settled in quite fast. Location: Although Cocoa may not seem like a 'happening' location, it was nice and quiet for our stay. Lots of campers/RVs in the park and no noise. Barely seen anyone else to be honest. Bathrooms: Clean every day. Showers: Clean and water was nice and hot Cost: Appropriate cost for the season, which could have been higher since the snow birds are settling in right now and that's when the rates go up. Staff: super friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this park! Call ahead of time to reserve a spot because as we are finding out, places fill quickly.

Decided to stay and we are so glad we did. Stephanie the owner is so nice and helpful. There isn't a host on site from 6pm-8am but she is easy to get ahold of if needed. The resort grounds are kept VERY clean and tidy. Pool and pool patio were cleaned each morning. The pool is not heated but my son didn't mind the cooler water after being on the beach all day. Plenty of lounge chairs around pool and seating outside the pool area on a patio over looking the beach. Steps down to the beach were kept clean led off and clear of clutter. It would be really nice to have a ramp going down to the beach. Was a little tricky getting our beach cart down the stairs. The ice machine was out of service while we were there so we did have to buy ice for our fish but hopefully it will be available next time we visit. A big plus was the water hose available for us to wash out our coolers and beach gear. Patio also has 2 enclosed beach showers to rinse off as well. The overall feel was very cozy and relaxed. We stayed in room 104 on the bottom floor. King bed with pull out couch. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. We didn't pull out the bed since the couch was super comfortable so my son didn't want it pulled out. The provided LOTS of pillows which was VERY impressive. Room was very well laid out and clean. Shower was a little awkward since it's an open concept but water pressure was perfect. Hot and cold water worked very well. King bed was VERY comfortable. Firm but not rock hard. Hubby and I both slept like a rock. Big TVs in living room and bedroom. Lots of windows to let in all the sunshine! I only have a few suggestions/tips to add: 1. Heavier blankets. We had bedding for the pull out but a few heavier blankets would be nice. After being in the sun all day it's nice to be in a cold room under cozy blankets. 2. A sink in the kitchen area would be so helpful. Running back and forth to the bathroom to use the sink was a little annoying but not enough to dampen this review. 3. A broom and dust pan. This is a MUST. After 2 hours of being there our floor was covered in sand. I had no way of sweeping it up and since the bathroom was in the bedroom, we had a ton of sand on the floor beside the bed. 4. Sand rugs beside the bed to wipe feet on before getting in the bed. (I HATE sand in my bed) All in All this is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for direct beach access. We will 100% be coming back.
