I was so impressed with the owner, the food and the cute decore which I found out was just renovated. It looks clean, classy and inviting. The menu is fabulous with a great range for breakfast, lunch or dinner and also presented beautifully. The best part is that the owner/chef is passionate about cooking, more than happy to please and makes everything from scratch, when you order, including the pasta (that must be premade, of course, but the sauces are made fresh per order. I was so impressed that I got take away linguini marinara for my mother, who is super hard to please, and she ate every bite. The little bit she allowed me to try, I could see why she didn't want to share. But I digress. I ordered garlic bread and after letting Pash know I LOVED garlic, I got super fresh chopped garlic on fantastic bread that really was amazing ! I also ordered the calamari which was on rocket and a superb dressing (coco sauce - secret) with nuts and seeds that were wonderfully different and delicious. My friend had the poached eggs on spinach and toast, and asked for very little oil. She reported it was delicious with hardly any oil, and so she was a happy camper, as not all restaurants really listen and make the effort. So I must tell you it was her birthday, so I did get her to try the Tiramisu. I always try the tiramisu, particularly at Italian restaurants because next to Zabglione is my all time favourite dessert. The tiramisu was the best I have had ! not only was the creamy part super creamy, but the coffee and alcohol that is supposed to be fully soaked into the cake part is never fully soaked or not strong enough in flavour, so can taste a little weak and so not as satisfying, this was superb. A real party in the mouth. Will definitely come back and they will have the Zabglione which is on the menu available. Also the salads, seafood and meats on the menu looked amazing, so will definitely be coming back for dinner.
