Went to celebrate birthday weekend in Rosarito with some friends. Surprisingly papas & beer was quite empty therefore ended up here. Can say it was an awesome night. Bought the all you can drink bracelet which was a bargain deal. Only downside as you must imagine is the quality of the drinks. They are made with cheap alcohol but hey they do the work. I preferred drinking beer most the night. What I didn't like was that the bartender had favoritism towards some people and even denied me another beer said they had ran out. Clearly gave the other person beer after i had asked. I went back to him and requested a bucket of beer which is not included in the wristband. Besides this minor unpleasant situation, everything else was great! The music was poppin all night long, restrooms very clean very well structured overall. Please stay away from this place!! Me and my boyfriend came here on 2/12/22 bought a bracelet outside from one of the workers. We only had about 2-3 drinks max we started feeling very weird and we decided to leave to the point that we left there not knowing what the hell happened or what happened to us. They beat him up outside we have no idea who or why. We got to our hotel and notice my phone, debit card, credit card and dl gone from my cross body bag someone open my bag and took all my stuff. After getting our drinks we go to sit down at one of the open bar tables. Another party we knew came to meet up with us and that's when things took a turn. As soon as the other party arrived the club staff said we had to buy THREE buckets of beer if we wanted to be in there. I told them that I had already been in the bar and had already ordered drinks so why all of a sudden do I have to buy THREE buckets of beer? They said they did not care even after the bartender himself told them to leave me alone. They grabbed me by my arm and a drink was thrown. They immediately threw my best friend down the stairs and 4 men who worked for the club chased him down to JUMP him. He got his phone stolen and his gold chain! Meanwhile I'm getting dragged down the stairs by a man who also works at this club. I'm yelling and calling for help and he then PUNCHES me in the FACE not once but TWICE! After the second punch a guy who was walking by then grabs the guy who is STILL trying to hit me and pushes him to the ground and that's when I RAN FOR THE LIFE OF ME. Been here multiple times over the last year and it is a great time. Some reviews talk about stolen items but that happens in any club. Go to Vegas and leave your phone in a rest room. Bet it won't be there long. People also need to remember this club is not located in the United States so it has different rules. They have a bracelet that let's you in and a bracelet that let's you in plus open bar till 2am. Buy your bracelet from Danny Boy outside the club. He is super helpful. Once in the bar look for the bartender German (I don't think thats how you spell his name). He makes great drinks. Make sure you tip them though. People will complain about bad service but won't give these guys a couple bucks for making drinks. Best advice e is to have fun. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTSSSSSS. The waiters are outside prowling for people to sell their all you can drink wristbands to. Once they see that you are not interested they end up offering you ridiculously good deals but THEY ARE SCAMMERS. My friends and I got tricked we were offered 10$ entry per person plus a complimentary bottle of tequila there were 4 of us so he was charging us 40$. (We we're sober when this happened there's no way all 4 of us heard incorrectly) He offered to take us to the VIP section and got us comfortable. Once we were half way through the bottle he said okay so it's gonna be $10 per person plus $140 for the bottle of tequila...he tried arguing and telling us we were drunk and miss heard him, but we had not had a single drink when we talked to him. The security came to talk to us and he was on the servers side and said that we probably mis heard. Then changed the story to "if he did give you that price it's bc he's new he just started last week." We asked to speak to the manager and they kept making up excuses as to why he couldn't come, they kept saying he was a really busy guy. They sell a wristband which they claim is open bar, as soon as you walk in somebody will be offering you a shot from a bottle without telling you it's 10 dollars a shot...that's basically US prices lol another lady walks around with jello shots which are not included either and they will not tell you this. Horrible experience. Do not go here unless you want to be robbed. My sister and I wanted to get a quick shot of tequila and were asked to sit at a table by the server. We sat down, ordered two shots of silver tequila, and were charged twenty ($20) for EACH SHOT OF TEQUILA. The waiter came to us with a little calculator and tried to justify the charge to us. Meanwhile any other bar/restaurant on this strip does not charge more than $12 a shot. Not only were we over charged for shots but he short changed us by $3 dlls. Avoid coming here during times like Spring Break, Baja Fest, Etc. My friends and I came and it was crowded but we didn't pay much mind to it until SIX of us got our phones stolen. We were all tracking our phones and they ended up in the same locations. We went there and the employees of the hotel told us that their employees have been known for stealing tourists' phones during these times and hiding them in places around that hotel. It seems almost as if thought they were targeting our group since it only happened when one of us when to the bathroom or to the bar. I wish I was able to say positive things about this place and I'm disappointed to have had spent my money here. If you're a college student coming with your friends I highly recommend sitting out on this event or even leaving your belongings at home. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO HERE!!!! My friends and I came here this past Saturday. Everything was going fine until my friend went to go get a refill and when she got back she noticed her phone was missing from her little purse but had it in there before she left to the bar. Someone was able to pick pocket her while she was at the bar and didn't notice. On top of that 2 other girls got their phones stolen from their purses as well. My friend finally showed up but she was with one of the owners of the club because he was helping her take her man to my car since he was so drunk he couldn't walk. As i was talking to my friend outside of my car the owner went in the back of my car I'm assuming to move things over but while he was back there the piece of sh*t stole my phone off my charger!! I didn't realize until everyone was finally in my car ready to go and i was going to turn on my phone. I picked up the string to my charger and it was out of the plug and my phone was not on it so he tried to steal my charging cord as well but was unable to. Everyone was telling me it must of fallen in between the seats, I tried to look but everyone wanted to leave I didn't even think that the owner of the club would've taken it! Forth of July weekend. My husband and I went to Rosarito to have a good time we stayed at the Rosarito Inn, at might we dicided to go to Coco Beach. We get there and everything was fine we bought a VIP bracelet (which means unlimited drinks) we get our first drink and go and dance then we get our second and my husband started acting weird kissing other girl he bit my ear very strange thing he is not that kind of person. So i got so mad I left to the hotel. I dicided to go look for him at 3am and there club was close i asked everyone i seen outside including staff, if they had seen my husband they said yeah he left with someone so i started worring and also mad thinking maybe left with a girl. I go back yo the hotel not being able to sleep i waited til the morning to look for him the first thing i thought is to look in hospitals or a jail. There was a tourist jail like 5 minutes away. I go and come to find out my husband is there so i tought thank god he is there not dead or out in the street. I asked why he is there? Judge said because he refused to pay the tab i said we had VIP i have my bracelet he said i dont know anything all i know is we need 200 to take him out. So my husband gives me his atm card i go to the atm and the card he gave me was not his i do back and ask him for another one he said they are not in my wallet. He was missing his phone his cash money and all card someone put someone else card in his wallet. So i called my family to send me money to take him out . Finally i get him out he is all beaten up. He does not remember anything. That same day we come back home to L.A. and we go to the bank and someone took 1000 dollars from my husband bank accounts. We went to Coco Beach this month and in February and had a great time both times. The bartenders and staff were very friendly and they played good music too. It's fun when they throw confetti onto the dance floor and give out balloons to the guests. All you can drink for $20 is a great deal. Papas&Beer competitor right in the middle of the action in Rosarito. All the clubs in this area offer an all you can drink wrist band in an attempt to attract party goer's. Papas & Beer is the most popular, so it's sort of the standard in the area. Comparatively, Coco Beach's wristband is both cheaper and valid for longer hours. Downside is that when I went, no one was at Coco Beach. In fact, when we went up to check the place out- they were still scrubbing down the club floors. What to do: Papas and Beer will always be more happening- there doesn't seem to be enough people in this area to support the around 5 large nightclubs they have here. Therefore, the best course of action is to: 1) buy the wristband for Papas and Beer 2) Party there until the wrist band expires (12am) 3) stay at Papas and Beer if you are good on the alcohol. If not, go to step 4. 4) Leave and walk the block over to Coco Beach to continue to party. Buy the wristband from one of the vendors out front. By this time, there should be a good number of people inside 5) Party the night away, Mexico style. On the club itself- -good music -stage -large bar area, and with the lower number of people here, drinks are easy to get -there is a man who walks around with a bottle of tequila (cuervo). He will pour tequila in your mouth, shake your head vigoriously and then ask you for money. This experience is not included in the cost of the wrist band. A few cheap beers with a side of sexual harassment. Terrible place, avoid at all costs. A couple of my girlfriends and I decided to check this place out on the first night of the year. Everything was fine and dandy until we experienced something appalling. An all male group of guys were hanging out at a "VIP" section next to the DJ. One of the guys was going around the club groping drunk girls and after one girl threw her drink at him the bouncers looked and did absolutely nothing about it. My friends and I brought it to the attention of one of the so-called bouncers at the club and we were rudely ignored. A few hours later the guy once again began harassing a girl on the dance floor. When she began fighting him off the bouncers literally picked the girl up and kicked her and her friends out of the club. Of course, the guy and his friends were allowed to stay. We asked to speak to the manager of the place and all of a sudden one of the bouncers begins to call himself the manager. He argued with us saying that we should have looked for him following the first incident and began blaming us for not "having done more." We had literally told multiple bouncers about the first incident and they should have taken care of it immediately. Not to mention the fact that even after all of this, the douchey harasser and his douchey friends were allowed to stay at the club. While all this happened, one of the employees at the bar whom I will not describe for anonymity approached me to let me know that this happens regularly at this location. Good place to dance and have fun. It's gets pretty packed and isn't too pricey. The wrist bands are inexpensive and you can drink all night. Drinks are definitely watered down or simply juice. The bartenders are always asking for tips and it's really annoying. If you don't want to give them one, the try and refuse you drinks even though you already paid for the unlimited drink band. It's okay to tip them but they want you to do it every-time you ask for a drink and it's ridiculous. My son went to this place about three weeks ago... about eight local guys (a witness counted them) followed him and assaulted him, they hit him brutally and left him unrecognizable: cut his left check, cracked a bone on his under eye bone, all swollen and bruised mainly in his eyes area and more!! They stole all his posetions: phone, watch, money and all his cards even his social security card... left him bleeding by the beach but thanks to the (an angel) witness guy (local) who run to get his mother, they helped (and took our son) him!!
