He knew everyone's name by the end of the week! He also taught us German words, shared exotic cocktails with us when we explained we wanted something "German", and made sure we were able to receive their excellent Coconut Curry Soup from the dining room right there in the bar. I also have to thank Jan for making a delicious cocktail for my birthday that tasted like a Dreamsicle in a glass! I have to say, if I was trying to staff a bar by myself most of the time I would have been overwhelmed. But Jan kept his cool and made sure everyone had their food and cocktails, and always made each customer feel special and cared for. That's a true talent! They also give you two little vases of munchies with your drinks - one filled with pretzel sticks and the other with an extremely addicting little snack called NicNac's, which are double-crunch peanuts with a slightly spicy seasoning. A separate cigar room and selection of fine cigars are available. There is a piano but over my three visits I never saw anyone play it. Eclectic music is piped in, bland but inoffensive. Prices range from 8-12€, the Moscow Mule is pretty damn good and if you have a few too many and happen to be staying at the Sheraton, you would have to be pretty damn slaughtered not to be able to stumble across the courtyard to bed.
