I had their shrimp birria tacos. SO good! The consomé was delicious too. I also ordered the dip with corn in it. Wow, that was great. First time trying this. Everything was nice and hot, and was still hot when I got home. Highly recommend this place! They used to have a food truck but they opened a brick and mortar place about 4 miles away from my house. I live in Brandywine, MD.

I came here after being able to leave early from jury duty I was so hungry! I came on my trusty yelp and was hungry for Mexican food and this place came up. It's in a strip mall type of situation which could be a red flag for some. But the last couple of Mexican restaurants I found in the same places food was slapping. I came in and was greeted and sat down quickly as there was I believe only maybe another person in the restaurant. I ordered shrimp Birria tacos and tried (3) margaritas which were on happy hour. The tacos were really good cooked well and not rubbery or too fishy which I appreciate. The margarita flavors I tried were mango, pineapple, and I believe strawberry and she did her thang making those drinks. The restaurant is on the smaller size but the decor was really vibrant and cute. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area! The young lady server needs to be given a raise because she held the entire restaurant down even as it got a little more packed. The only thing she did not do was cook the food! Great job!

Authentic Mexican food, delicious and full of flavor!! One thing that really irks me, is Mexican food, with no flavor!!! LIKE HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE... Anyhoo this place, hidden in a shopping center... I would've never thought to check this place out, but thanks to good ol Yelp & this baddie foodie I've come to know......Here we go!! The chips were served warm with delicious tomato salsa. The guacamole was served fresh and very tasty!! My shrimp enchiladas were yummy! Rice and beans were seasoned perfectly...my company opt for a little bit of everything...chicken tacos, a chicken quesadilla and chicken enchilada. This combo option came with rice and she added a side of beans. And how can I forget the best part! Margaritas. I decided to keep it simple...regular margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim. All in all, 10/10 experience for me...I would definitely come back here to try some other things... It was a slow Wednesday evening. Our server was attentive and helpful... The restaurant was clean... Thanks Nessa for putting me on!!! Where we going next!!!! ;))) Happy Yelping!

This place reminded me of a place you'd find in Texas. Definitely was smiling the way in and way out! Let's get into it! Flautas - So delicious! Yes, yes, and more yes! Chicken Enchilada - I had to get one to taste, the honey liked it more than his fajitas. Fajitas - You can't really mess this up. Margaritas - SOOOOO GOOD! We should have gotten the small ones. Overall cute little restaurant in the cut and so worth the drive! Yes, yes, and more YES! I'll be back!

Even though crowded, it was warm and welcoming. We got a seat quickly as we were greeted by the friendly host. We were greeted at the table by our server, Maybeline. She brought out water quickly, made some recommendations and came right back to take our order. We had the fajitas and birria, steak and shrimp tacos. They were all so flavorful, as were the black and pinto beans. Even the chips and salsa were delicious. All in all it was a great Friday find! Go check it out!

The last few times we have gone we have noticed…read morethat the prices have consistently gone up over the past year or so and the food quality seems to be lacking. On our last visit, we got the chicken fajitas, and the grilled chicken was so flavorless, tough, and honestly, hard to eat. The chicken definitely needs to be marinated and seasoned, and it was neither. Queso often comes out lukewarm and overly thick. Birria tacos were good, per usual. Also, my husband and I have definitely questioned the amount of tequila that they are putting in the margaritas. We usually have one or two (and while not looking to get drunk lol) it definitely seems as if there is little tequila in these margaritas (especially if you buy a pitcher!). The margaritas taste like straight lime. Tequila has a flavor (which is one of the reasons why I love a margarita!).It is NOT present at all in the Kiki margaritas. Service is fine. Nothing spectacular. It honestly depends on who you get...some servers are clearly more attentive than others.

The actual restaurant/bar drinks and bathrooms is the issue needs to definitely be updated. So back to the good part of the review: the food. Now I love me some Birria tacos and usually they are the size of a small corn tortilla...but not these! When she brought me out these ginormous (3) tacos I couldn't believe my eyes! They were the size of my open hand past my wrist! Now my pictures don't do them any justice because it took me 2-3 days to finish them and the side of Mexican rice which was also so big! So be aware that you will have food to take home for lunch or to eat later as I'm a grazer myself...lol. Now the margaritas were not good at all and tasted premade which for an authentic Mexican a spot as this seems to be should be a no-no! I did like the salsa that tasted homemade and asked if I could take a side of it home! As usual I love finding a diamond in the rough and this is definitely it! This evening, we sat at the bar and ordered lots of great food, especially the Birria tacos and quesadillas. The consume was just the right consistency! We shared the corn, which was perfectly sweet and tangy, ordered three lemonades, and tried a handful of tacos. The taco de lengua was tender and moist without being fatty, the barbacoa was savory with just the right hint of sweetness, and the carne asada was hearty, meaty, and full of flavor. We wrapped things up with a flan that was creamy and custardy--exactly how it should be. The packed parking lot says it all about this place's popularity. Don't miss out.

There are definitely a variety of taco choices. I haven't been unsatisfied yet. There is a small eating area inside away from the bottleneck area where people order and pick up their food but I don't think I'd ever want to eat inside since it's way too busy and the ambiance would be too hectic for me to deal with. There are other choices of sides or extras like maíz loco (corn on the cob with a variety of toppings like mayo, catsup, crumbled cheese, tajín...your choices), dried pork rinds, chicharrón (chewier and crispy version of the pork rinds), atole (hot, masa-based beverage made from corn dough, water or milk, sweetened with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla). There are quick desserts to go too. I would highly recommend ordering ahead so you can get in and out or figuring out the less congested times. I've come during the dinner rush hours time but hadn't been planning on getting it ahead of time. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back.

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time.
