Before the surgery, I sent her my doctor-provided list of foods I could and couldn't eat along with my personal preferences. She immediately created a rough template for 3 meals a day, plus snacks. Each morning, she brought my food for the day, and at night after I had finished it all, we would talk or text so that I could give her any feedback. She would adjust the next day's meals, and we did the same process each day for about 10 days. Her food was delicious, made with quality ingredients and packed well. But just as important, she was so easy to work with and, frankly, so accommodating to my smallest feedback. She was also always so quick to respond. Literally, I could text her, see the Read notification, then see her typing within seconds. This happened most of the time. I don't think I ever had to wait more than 10 minutes to get a response. Amazing! Truly, the only thing I looked forward to each day was her food - it was that good! When I was in pain and depressed, that little happiness each day made all the difference to me. There were some dark days during those 10 days of recovery, but I'll always remember her and her food with fondness.

So I dipped a fork into the, now cold, veggies and O M G - the veggies were just amazing. So I heaped a plate full of cold veggies and scarfed it down. It was so good that I had to call LaNeves to let them know. I also scarfed down about 4 pieces of fried fish (cold also). It was so good. I found her on Yelp and the reviews and photos were all favorable. I sent a Saturday email, she texted on Sunday about doing a call. 1 hour later we chatted, picked a preliminary menu, over the phone from her vast selection of flavors, styles, options, nationalities, cultures. It was tough because everything sounded delicious. As we talked and shared our passion for food with strong flavor- none of this frozen, breaded, bland appetizer options. It was clear to me that Chef Renee was going to bring taste to the table. She did not disappoint! All of the guest noted how good the food was and we were never so happy to have leftovers! I was further impressed with how she immediately did a quick contract with easy electronic payment. We inked the deal and in 24 hours I had my catering dilemma solved. Without any contact she showed up precisely as agreed. She and her team went to work fussing over the layout and set up of every little detail. They seemed as excited about the party as we were! Every detail was provided for and the cheese board was to die for! The food quantity was abundant and the baked goods are addictive. I know why she sells thousands of the chocolate crinkles!
