Their monitoring service is top notch and they are very quick to call when the alarm goes off. We previously had our alarm system with a very well known large security company and Omega Security's Customer Service and Monitoring Service is much more superior than my previous company. When we had our system put in by Omega, they recommended that we install a carbon monoxide/smoke alarm that would be connected to their monitoring service. They said we should have one since our home has natural gas. Having this alarm in place was a life saving device recently. On the first day of our home renovation, Omega's monitoring service called to let us know that there was a very high and dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide in the home. We immediately called the contractor and told him of the problem and that the workers needed to get out of the house. It appears that the machinery that was being used had created the accumulation of gas in the home. Omega's service immediately dispatched the Fire Department to our home to investigate the carbon monoxide. When they arrived they made the workers stay outside the home until the levels in the air had returned to normal. Had it not been for the carbon monoxide alarm, which Omega recommended, someone could have been seriously hurt or worse. We will recommend Omega Security to our friends and family and to anyone who needs alarm monitoring service. We have been so pleased with their service thus far, that we have recently purchased a camera security system from them as well. I can access the cameras from my phone at all times. Not only do they provide security monitoring service, but they also do audiovisual installations. As part of our renovation, they installed all the AV cabling and speakers in our home.

I was at Red White and Blue in Flamingo plaza where one of the company's guards works. As a 115 lbs non-threatening what-so-ever female, I was baffled why this man decided to loudly harass and follow me around and physically blocked me from making a purchase. I was chased out of the store without being able to buy the things I was ready to pay for by this unstable man. (No manager on premises, cashiers did not speak much English so I did not involve them.) Plenty of people were still in the store, both still shopping and waiting in line. I was not holding anyone up. After the whole strange and scary episode, a witness later told me that this man very likely had bias against persons of Asian descent. He was seen loudly airing his grievances and asserting his political views about COVID-19 earlier in the day to another person who was obviously trying be left alone and shop. I was following protocols, so he had no reason to single me out other than the obvious. Considering the alarming rise of hate crime against Asians due to COVID and the unprovoked harassment I received, while he was at work, with plenty of witnesses around, I felt I needed to alert the company with the details of what happened, including the person's name, for fear of escalation if left unchecked. A week went by, they never wrote back. I wrote again asking for acknowledgement, and once again, silence. It has been a month since I contacted them via email from their website, and no acknowledgement has come forward whatsoever. Let it be known that when this man starts committing violence against Asians, I have alerted the company of warning signs, and nothing was done.

When I moved, he removed the bracket and reinstalled it with my TV and speaker at my new place, along with a Samsung Frame TV and another speaker below. The setup looks clean and well done. I had a couple of concerns: during the Frame install, it sounded like he may have hit metal when drilling, and during the previous bracket reinstall, I briefly worried about the electrical panel behind. Also, the blue protective blankets left dye on my tile floors, which took a few scrubs to remove -- so a heads-up if you have porous tiles. Overall, very happy with the results -- just shy of 5 stars due to those small issues.
