On day of service, Mr. Tyler always arrives in a timely manner, communicating prior to arrival that helps relieve the stress about actual show up time. When he shows up, he gets right to work! CERAMIC COAT: Wanting to preserve the integrity of our Honda Element's body, we decided to invest in a ceramic coat. That service includes washing, polishing, ceramic coating paint & trim. The vehicle's trim also receives a special coating to help protect it from Mother Nature as well. It was a world of difference once Tyler was finished working on it! MINI-DETAIL: Our Jeep already has a factory Ceramic coating, and The Mini-Detail Package helped renew its look of newness to the vehicle. The rubber residue from water runoff was cleaned up nicely and that seemed to be the most pestering issue with the recent rains. Loved the shininess in the sun once everything was done! Let me start by stating that I am a car guy. I do most maintenance and detailing work on my cars. Especially when it comes to detailing I do not trust others to work on my cars. Past bad experiences have led me to the conclusion that no one cares as much about my cars as I do...that is, until I met Tyler from Cobos Mobile Detailing. From my very first call, the experience was A-1 all the way. I asked for an estimate for both cars (a 2009 Benz CLK 350 convertible that was in a bit of rough shape and a 2019 GLC 300 SUV that was in near-new condition). After reviewing the estimate I made an appointment for Tyler and his crew to come to do the work. I received regular text updates reminding of the day and time of the appointment; on the day of the appointment Tyler showed up early. That was a great start. In the past I have dealt with service people who show up late, or sometimes not all, and that can be more than annoying. In any event Tyler and his guy began to work on my vehicles--the CLK first. It was reassuring to see how hard, and carefully, they both worked on my convertible. As I mentioned above, the CLK was in a bit of rough shape. But after Tyler was done working on the CLK it looked showroom fresh. The CLK is 16 years old and the weather, especially the Southern California sun, can really do a lot of damage to a car's exterior and interior. Tyler and his associate did a fantastic job. The GLC was a little easier to work on because it is newer and both the exterior and the interior were not as rough as the CLK. Still, Tyler took his time to make it look showroom fresh, just like with the CLK. To sum it up, here are the Pros and Cons of the work done by Tyler and Cobos Mobile Detailing. Pros: 1. Easy to make appointment. 2. Text updates. 3. Showed up on time. 4. Dedication to make my vehicles look great. 5. Fair pricing. 6. Good attitude. 7. Listened to my concerns. 8. Attention to the little details. 9. Looked at the work from my POV and understood how much these vehicles mean to me, especially the CLK convertible; and 10. Overall nice, friendly guys. Cons: None. The owner, Tyler, is one of those rare young people who had a plan to own his own business when he was still in High School, and then actually Made It Happen. Tyler isn't one of those small business owners that just sits in his air conditioned office and sends crews out to do the dirty work. About half the time I schedule a detailing, it's Tyler himself that shows us to do the job. And that guy does a phenomenal job detailing cars. Excellent attention to detail. Other times, it might be one of Tyler's crews that show up. That's fine with me too, because all Tyler's employees are expertly trained and do a phenomenal job. They are as attentive to detail and as hard working as Tyler himself! It's been really great to see his business grow and prosper. Because they are so good at what they do, their calendar gets filled with appointments. Consequently, it's advisable to book your detailing well in advance if you know you are going to need one. Or you can ask them to set you up for a recurring appointment and they will visit you on the regular. One of the most important parts of Customer Service is communicating well with your customers. Here again is something Cobos Mobile Detailing excels at. It is super easy to schedule appointments by text. On the day of your detailing office will usually notify you by text when the crew is on the way to your house, just to give you a heads up. My wife and I are both very satisfied with the services provided by Cobos Mobile Detailing Our 2018 Highlander was detailed on the interior and had a wash on the exterior. It looks like a new car. The materials or solutions that were used do not feel greasy The car is very comfortable to sit in and drive With the exterior wash, the car came out immaculate and all of the molding was cleaned and is now looking like it's old normal slightly glossy black finish. I will start by saying they offer a great detail at a very fair price. Typically my wife has very high expectations of detailers and often has them go back through and get the spots they missed, but she couldn't find anything wrong. Tyler did an incredible job! I'm not sure who it was sending out different notifications about time availability, but whoever it was was terrific at keeping us up to date. Storms in Southern California aren't common, and neither is your car flooding due to excessive rainwater on the street... Luckily, Cobos Mobile Detailing squeezed me in last minute to help resolve this unexpected turn of events and give my car interior a nice refresh. I called in the morning and was originally scheduled at 3, and the person answering their main phone line was so nice and informed me that the detailing team will be late cause they got a little held up at their last stop. Really wanted to love this company. I scheduled a deep cleaning with them for my vehicle (over $250) and thought that they did a wonderful job. However, trying to schedule a follow up has been more than difficult. I called them last week twice and was told that they should be able to detail my vehicle this past Monday and that they would give me a call back. Called THEM back on Saturday because I still havent heard from them, left a message and text, no response. Called again on Monday, no response. I can understand that they do great business, but if you cant call people back that have already used your services, then maybe its best you dont take on new clients. read more
