We visited on a Wednesday evening & were suprised to find that Cork & Cask features complimentary wine tastings daily during store hours. How nice! There were also various wine & beer gifts spread throughout the store. The wine tasting, coupled with meat & cheese samples from the neighboring Accentric Home Store & Deli, it was a nice way to start the evening & to experience all the Cork & Cask had to offer. Every single person who works here is genuinely good company - friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help or chat. They have a great selection of everything, and they're always bringing in new products to try. You can tell they pay attention to what their customers like. It feels like a family business that's truly made with care. They do thoughtful little things that make such a difference; like giving out a free bag of ice (in the cutest little bag!) if you spend over $25, and occasionally throwing in a free drink sample when something new comes in. It feels generous and community-minded, not simply transactional. Highly recommend supporting this place. We always leave with a smile!

I found the selection much better than most of the other stores (though of course Westside Liquor beats all), and the prices were very reasonable. The reason I'm writing this review, though, was because of the excellent service. When we purchased our alcohol (over $300 worth), the cashier was very nice and very helpful. I jokingly said that if she wanted to give me a discount on such a big purchase, I'd gladly accept - and she did! She also boxed everything up securely for us and made it easy to get out to our vehicle. After our purchase, we didn't end up using all of the alcohol we purchased, and on a whim, I called the store and asked about the possibility of returning the unopened bottles. The manager I spoke with was so wonderful and helpful and said that of course I could come back in for a refund. I was so pleasantly surprised! I stopped in that same day and the return was easy peasy; the money was back in my account 3 days later. What a lovely experience! If you're looking for mainstream liquor, wine or beer at reasonable prices with great service, Cash Wise is an excellent choice.
