She cldn't say enough good things about them, so I made an appt. I don't usually leave reviews but this place DEFINITELY DESERVES IT! Ryan is the sweetest, kindest, most caring person when it comes to our animals I don't say this about ANYONE but I'd trust my dogs life in his hands. Their reputation precedes them insofar as their courtesy, professionalism and character. Stephanie usually grooms my dogs and I've never had even close to a problem w/ her svcs. In addtn to being very outgoing, she also communicates any issues before and/or after our appt. The guys & girls who do the bathing, etc. are also GREAT! They are all so incredibly nice and so good w/the animals. I wldn't dream of taking mine ANYWHERE ELSE. I was able to have an online chat via pet insurance that gave me some ideas of what the issue could be. Then, the light bulb went off while reading reviews. I decided to try grooming to see if it could sooth his skin. I was a little hesitant as there were no recent reviews but I needed to try something and fast. I had a conversation with Patti over the phone and she was really patient in listening to my concerns. She was able to take us the next day and gave my boy a soothing medicated bath. He looked great and felt better. We still have to deal with the cause and flare ups but at least he is more comfortable. Thanks to Patti and team at Ruff Cuts.

She truly loves animals and you can tell as soon as you meet her. I have a temperamental Pomeranian mix, and he lets her groom him efficiently without issues. What is most remarkable about Patti is the care and affection she gives your pet. Not only did she trim my pom's feet for free on a nail-clipping only trip, but gave my chihuahua a mini-reikiki session because she is in congestive heart failure. Patti thought it necessary to give her a little extra love. Would you receive such service at a chain store? Absolutely not. The facilities may not be as conventional as others, but Patti has always done a wonderful job and her customer service is incredible. I will always be one to support small and local businesses, and Ruff Cuts is no different.

I had the chance to take both of my furbabies to Underground Grooming this week and each visit was…read morewonderful. My older mixed breed, who is terrified of getting his nails clipped, sat with Jackie and let her get all 4 paws done. He is going to be some work but she offered suggestions and will work with him to ease his fears. The next day I took my 1 year old Golden Retriever with no fear and too much energy. Emily handled him very well. She gave him a bath, a gorgeous haircut and nail trim. He -- and I -- felt like we made some new friends.

Sadly, I would not recommend. I have boarded my dogs here before and they did ok. This time, not…read moresure what went on but getting different stories from the staff. We left our 2 dogs for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. We called to check on them and were told that they were doing great. The dogs were kenneled separately, however we were told that they were let out in the run together and were playing. We called to ask if the video cameras could be turned on because we wanted to view them while we were away, the kennel never called us back. When we picked them up we were told that the older dog (13) was aggressive to staff and was never allowed out of the kennel, which conflicted with what we were told on the phone. He has a big (silver dollar sized) lesion on his face and a chipped tooth that is right under the lesion, as though he was kicked. This will require veterinary treatment. This dog has never been aggressive towards people. Both dogs had lost a considerable amount of weight. A very disappointing and scary experience.
