We checked in super late (early I guess, midnight) and the clerk waited up for us to help us get checked in. Super nice! We got to our room and it was pretty clean and stocked. The front desk staff was so helpful and nice to us the entire duration of our stay. Our stay was very affordable. If we're ever back in the area this is our hotel of choice. read more

Rude service. Charged our credit card after we had already paid in full online. No hot water two mornings in a row.

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, but breakfast was very disappointing. "Hot" foods were cold, no attendant to help and couldn't keep up with coffee, then coffee had lots of grounds in it. Tables were not wiped off. Needs new management!! read more

Excellent oasis on I-94 - thought we would stay in Bismarck & that didn't pan out & then stopped outside of town at a motel that didn't have a room & she recommended this place! SO grateful! Only downside was no elevator but otherwise ALL good. Clean room, comfy bed & friendly front desk host Mike. Not much food nearby but a very great gas station mini-mart across the street had enough to fill our tummies. With the mini fridge & micro we were all set. What a nice surprise in a safe, quiet 'stop' in the middle of nowhere. I'd say 'town', but you're hard pressed to find any kind of store, market or homes around here or most of ND on Hwy 94. All the other hotels in nearby towns had motels/hotels with terrible reviews, so I chose this hotel based on recent Yelp reviews, which is why they're so important. Pros: * Very clean, nicely upkept hotel. * Cost - $70/nt. I've paid the same or more for a Motel 6, so this is definitely 1* above that & worth it. * Stable, screaming fast WiFi. * VERY comfy mattresses & lots of pillows. I got a slightly sour whiff from at least one of them, but that's the hazard with new strangers every night using the same bedding. * Plenty of towels & a few toiletries... larger soaps, small shampoo & conditioner samples, box of soft tissues, better TP than Motel 6. * Room has fridge, m/w & small coffee pot with Wolfgang Puck coffee packets (2 reg, 2 decaf), which are a step above most hotel java. There are also WP tea packets... 2 Earl Gray, 2 chamomile with extras out in the lobby, complete w/hot water dispenser. * QUIET. Even the a/c-heat wall unit is quiet & has an 'always on' button (aka insomniac's dream button)... so nice that it doesn't turn on-off-on-off with a clunk all night long. For budget travelers, you'll know what I mean. I think part of the quiet is the hotel isn't full each evening... if you're 1/2-way across the state & need a rest, you stop here, otherwise, you keep driving. * Security. The back door is accessible only with your secure key. * Nice front desk staff & housekeeping. Susie's a bit of a kook, but professional, nonetheless. Amenities: * 6-9am hot breakfast. I never indulged, so don't know what they offer. * 24/7 lobby coffee & hot water... a guest computer is in the lobby, as well. Java could be stronger, but I've had much weaker at most hotels. * A bit odd, but the fitness center, printer & washer/dryer share the same room... at least they're here, if you're in need. * Gas station/convenience store/coffee shop/Subway across the street... the only road amenities for many miles... traffic can be steady, but you can still jaunt across the street. * There are 2 restaurants nearby... one is a pub-grill. I didn't visit either, but they're a bit pricey according to their online menus & don't stay open past 10pm... doubt you'll find any sort of delivery here. There are no fast food joints... you have to stop in larger cities when passing through (see below). The closest McD's for instance, is in Bismark. Note #1: The only real towns with stores/restaurants/markets are Bismark (43-mi W) or Fargo (153-mi E). Stop there for supplies if you're considering staying overnight or stopping for a meal in-between, cuz there's not much besides gas station food clear across 94. There is a small 'store' in the lobby for junk food, if you've no choice. Note #2: The front desk does have a small bar next to it, with what looked like beer taps. It's so small, I barely noticed & only realized from previous reviews/pics. I wasn't interested so didn't inspect it, but it's apparently it's "open" from 4:30-11pm. Unsure if they staff a bartender (doubtful) or if front desk staff doubles as servers, but it's available. I don't recall seeing liquor or wine bottles. Unsure if the gas station carries alcohol? Cons: * Nothing really, but like ALL hotels I've stayed in from 1-4*, the carpeting should be cleaned or replaced... it's gotta be 20+ yrs old. It's not as filthy as some, but is dirty... just don't know why hotels don't do this as normal maintenance. * Nice TV, but no premium channels & movie channels are pay-per-view. Why? Just give us an HBO or 2. . Solid 4.5 out of 5*. If traveling across the state & tired, this is a must stop. So peaceful, I stayed an extra night. read more

Not a bad little hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. I would only give 3 stars as the water pressure in the shower was low to the point you had to use cold water to rinse off. We also requested a king bed in the reservation but wife and I had to sleep separate with the two fulls. If I could upgrade anything else I would pull the treadmill out of the laundry room and add another washer/Dyer so travelers aren't playing musical chairs on the washing machine. read more
