Wanting to support the smaller local businesses, I checked in here and found a little gem. Because I was checking in rather late, just after 10 PM, I called the phone number on the office door and a nice lady met me at the hotel room door. My room was small, but perfect for one adult, and although not fancy, it was extremely clean and had a frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Again, no frills, but super clean, tidy, easy check in and lowest priced room I've had in years. I would definitely stay here again. Also, I suspect that there are so few reviews for this motel because itusual clients seem to be locals probably don't care about writing reviews.

Comfy beds, clean rooms, great shower, and you can't hear the next door neighbor! My husband sleeps with the TV on. I always worry it may be too loud. I happened to meet my neighbors and got to ask and apologize if necessary. The neighbor also slept with the TV on and neither one heard the other!! This is THE place to stay!! Thank You Very Much!!

The manager was pleasant and helpful, the price was fair and the room was large and clean. This is a perfect place to spend the night if you are in the area. As we we unloading the car, three people on horses stopped by to chat with some neighbors in front of the Inn. We felt that this was a charming introduction to this town.

Finally, Shelly with North Country Lodge answers the phone and she's got availability! She is incredibly friendly and even drives out to the gas station to lead us through the difficult-to-navigate road construction in town. Her level of service is amazing.
