Was trying to get matters of Father's estate resolved that sisters opposed, like property…read morereturned. Not only was Owen Gabrielson slow on responding to both my requests but in getting any issue solved ( in fact only thing they did was make a Will for myself). I had requested that ALL inquiries etc were to be with a paper trail, as this not only keeps lawyer honest, but in case as in this I fired attorney I would have something to show the next or to the Court. Nothing was C.C. to me. So Farr law group not only didn't do anything I requested, but allowed my sister the executrix's law firm to not answer in a timely function nor ever as I requested seek a Court hearing. Did get billed though, good at that. I would never recommend this firm except for writing straight forward wills.

Answer a few standard questions, chat about your impending death, and whammo! You've got yourself a legally binding will, power of attorney, health care advance directive, etc. Betsy also told us everything about death we wouldn't have even known to ask. Plus, she and her husband even come to *your* house for a signing party so you get the documents right away. It wasn't cheap, but check to see if your company has a legal plan (ours paid for almost everything!). But it was thorough, painless, and quick. Just like I hope that impending death of mine will be. (FYI: Betsy knows all the good ways to dispose of your body: cremation, burial at sea, composting, being turned into a tree ...)

I highly recommend Goodfellas, I always feel I'm better off hiring a professional to do taxes, and I feel I'm ahead financially even if I was to do them myself and consider my time was free - I feel like I would miss some deductions and end up with less in returns. Some things are best left to professionals, taxes are one of them, for me anyway.

Goodfellows had filed our 2021 taxes w/o reciepts which triggered an audit. After several attempts to contact them and ignored emails about why we received the letter, my husband went up there. He was told by who we believe was the CPA's wife (at the front) that he was not available eventhough he could clearly see him. Jason said it was urgent and needed a few minutes of his time since they were not responding to calls or emails. The woman refused to allow Chase, the CPA, to review the letter when he came out of the office and proceeded to call the cops to have the CLIENT/ my husband, removed. My husband left. He had been a client for approx 15+ years with Goodfellows but it changed CPA's, I beleive, in 2020. Despite our many requests for files and records, he will not reply, respond, or provide. They are completely unprofessional. We will most likely have to report this to the board of accountancy if our files are not provided to us soon. I dont normally leave reviews but in this case, involving fiduciary duties, I feel the public should be informed. I would give no stars if possible.

From the moment I called and explained my issue, Jacob was full of information, had a plan ready to execute, and did so. Five hours later the problem was resolved to the customer's satisfaction with minimal cost and no residual issues. I have no doubt that had the problem been more severe, Jacob's cool and practiced approach to evaluating, proposing a solution and completing a project would have been similarly successful.
