There are areas for dancing, standing around (if your not a dancer) and also areas that you can sit down where it is quieter and have drink and a chat. I always find it is very clean there and the staff genuinly seem to be having a good time there. They quite often do personal appearances for minor celebrities - which usually are rubbish but it brings a bit of energy to the night. One that you cant go wrong with!

I think the main focus of jesters is navy men and drink, there is no character to the place and you certainly would not be looking for your lifetime partner in here. the music is fairly good, with most up to date chart music being played. drinks are ok but the weekend evenings see the prices very expensive for the venue in my opinion. I think the main thing i don't like about this is the seedyness of the place - it seems to be a bit rough and i have felt intimidated being here at times.overall would probably not go here too often.

They do have a 'cocktail bar' which serves up sugar syrup and vodka concoctions - definately not cocktails - but decent enough for the bargain prices (£1 - £3). The entrance fee is quite extortionate but they get away with it because there is nowhere else to go in the area. The drinks are also expensive and you won't get many drinks for your money. Probably the only good thing is the toilets which are surprisingly clean. And also the lollipops they give out when you are leaving! Beware though, there are no fast food shops open in St Austell when the club closes!
