TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

If you're looking for someone who truly knows kitchens, hire Rodney. I can't say enough good things…read moreabout him. He installed my custom kitchen cabinets, and the quality of his work is outstanding. The cabinets are beautiful, soft-close, and made with real wood--including the shelves and drawer bottoms. His craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. What really sets Rodney apart is his experience. He caught several issues before they became expensive problems. For example, he noticed the electrical outlet above my range needed to be moved to meet current code for my over-the-range microwave, and he took care of it before installation. He also noticed a chipped transition strip between my kitchen tile and laminate flooring, found a matching replacement, and repaired it. He even fixed damaged trim around my marble fireplace that wasn't part of the original job. Rodney is much more than a cabinet installer. He has the skills to handle electrical work, plumbing, countertops, and other aspects of a kitchen remodel, making him a true one-stop contractor. I already had a friend lined up to install my countertops, so I didn't use Rodney for that portion, but knowing he has those capabilities would make future projects much easier. He was professional, dependable, and an excellent communicator. He kept me informed about the schedule, showed up when he said he would, and did exactly what he promised. His pricing was fair, and I always felt like he wanted the job done right--not just finished quickly. It's rare to find someone with this level of skill, honesty, and pride in their work. I would hire Rodney again without hesitation and recommend him to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship.

Being a local designer and always demanding the highest quality and service for my clients, Coastal Cabinets is always my first choice. I make an appointment and bring notes and ideas for client meetings. Jenna is amazingly knowledgeable from having been in the business for many years and her follow up is stellar. She works with a multitude of vendors of various styles and finishes, plus she can add custom details. Many of the vignettes have hidden storage ideas. There is also a convenient display of cabinet hardware in the back of the showroom. With so many details to decide in making the perfect kitchen or bath, anyone working with Coastal Cabinets will be in the best of hands. We walked in and a young woman, I can only guess, Jenna, was helping another couple. We walked in and were never acknowledged or spoken to. My husband and I walked around and looked at cabinets waiting to be acknowledged. After 15 minutes of not even being looked at we decided to leave. We are building a custom home in Bay Colony and have the need for a lot of cabinets. I can only surmise that the owner looked at the color of our skin and made the decision that we were not worthy of a greeting nor a conversation.

At the 7 week mark (we) called and they told us we needed to come in and pick the colors and handles. Week 9 we again called and they scheduled us for a 2 day install. The day before install my wife called and was told someone contracted the COVID and they had to shut the production plant down and it would be 2 more weeks. (We have no kitchen at this point) Week 11 we once again called and was scheduled for Monday and possibly Tuesday (yes today) and Monday we were told their truck was broke down and they never came. Today we had to call them again and was finally told the truth.. We are told the cabinets got put on the back burner and they were only 98% complete drying from the paint. Now mind you after the cabinets are installed you still have to wait for the counter tops. Lord only knows how that will go. This company will lie to your face, make up false excuses and will not call you to keep you informed. If that is the way you want to spend your money then by all means go waist your time and money. This company is in dire need of customer service and new management that wont lie to a customer.

The professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail was fantastic. The second project was a bathroom remodel following a failed remodel done by another contractor only 4 years prior. Tony and Terry came in, assessed the situation and presented a plan on how to take care of everything. Again, the quality of work and attention to detail was beyond reproach. Yes, it was an expensive project, but their work justifies the cost. I will without a doubt, hire Monarch Building for all future projects! If you're in need of a contractor, and one that cares about his clients as well as the quality of work being provided, Tony and Monarch Building should be your go to. Icing on top, Tony and crew will even play with your dogs and set them at ease with them being around doing work on your property.

Monarch was able to repaint the entire interior, replace all the carpet, and convert a combo tile/carpet floor to LVP in the span of three weeks. He was also very practical and made great recommendations that stayed within our budget. We plan on replacing windows in the next couple years, so he advised against any repainting any windows so we wouldn't be paying for them twice. This was our first home and some of these decisions I needed guidance on. Tony and Monarch Building helped us though the process and truly made our home feel like our own.
