They were happy to work with my specifications and integrated them into the contract. Communication was very good, and the crew not only worked hard to complete the job but looked for the best solution for any small issues that came up as they worked. They leveled a slope, poured a slab, built a fence, and installed a retaining wall. Then they landscaped the terraced area with low maintenance plants. They left the area clean and completed all tasks as agreed upon. No hidden surprises--just people who take pride in their work. There's a lot of value in having a great experience with professionals who care about the work they do, and for that I would highly recommend the Vazquez Brothers.

I interviewed four different landscaping companies before choosing him, and Chris stood out as the most knowledgeable, especially about the Outer Sunset area in San Francisco and what grows best in this climate. He really took the time to listen. We met several times before the work began to design the project, and I never felt rushed. He was flexible, collaborative, and easy to work with throughout the whole process. He stayed open to changes and new ideas as they came up, and he coordinated really well with my contractor. I also found his prices to be very reasonable for single-family homeowners. I don't have much gardening experience, and Chris was able to take the lead in creating a beautiful, low-maintenance backyard that fits my family's lifestyle and the overall design of our home. The backyard he created is a place we'll cherish for years. I'm very grateful to him.

He'll make sure to ask questions and clarify things if he's unsure, and he'll look out for things that you won't have thought of, or suggest improvements. All of this was also done at a very fair price, and it was clear the team were doing things properly from getting a level foundation, laying down base rock, and cutting and laying pavers. Once we decided, Eric and his team got us scheduled in and he kept in touch with updates for me the whole time. He was always available if my parents had questions or wanted to tweak anything. Mid-project, my parents decided to change the color of the pavers (definitely a big ask), but Eric was really accommodating and made it happen before the rain started. I know it caused some inconvenience and even delayed another project, but he was understanding and didn't make it feel like an issue at all for them. My parents have been really happy with their yard and everything has held up great. I've even reached out for an estimate for my own yard this time! Overall, great experience and I'd definitely recommend Paverscaping.
