I dont usually talk bad about businesses, but I have to get this off my chest, because I am so upset about this. I have been going to Coastal Psychology in Savannah for 6 YEARS now, and I only finally met dr Silverman who knows how to do an actual psychological evaluation. It was well written, covered everything I need to know about my baby and how I can help him, and I don't have to flip around through the whole report to find what is actually important because there is a section at the end with all the numbers instead of jamming it all in there like filler! I can just read the dam thing instead of having these numbers that don't mean anything to me shoved in my face. Now I find out dr Silverman is being kicked out because his bosses, dr Nagelburg and dr Boachner, don't like how he writes. Let me tell you how they write: dr Nagelburgs evaluations were maybe 3 or 4 pages and most of it was tables and them telling me about the test they used (wtf do I care? Tell me about my BOY!) They spent a bunch of time telling me what color shirt my baby was wearing when he was tested and whether he wore a hat every time we came in. What does that have to do with why he can't sit still in class and is so angry? They also told me I had to get reevaluated every year or 2. That is what they told me. With dr Silverman I found out that's not true at all! A good report can last 7 years or more! How much money did I fork out because they were lazy writers? Dr Silvermans report was what he called integrative, so I not only learned my son has a hard time understanding what he hears, but how that makes it hard for him to talk to me, which is why he's been so angry, and what I can do to help him not only at school and home but in the future too! THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED 6 YEARS AGO! Why didn't anybody tell me this? How did dr Nagelburg miss that? He just said he was depressed, but never said WHY!!!A Dont go to Coastal Psychology. My family is gonna follow dr Silverman when he gets his own office. Yours should too! read more

Had a very positive experience at Coastal Psychology. Would highly recommend. The team was very supportive and professional.

Welp...they still suck in 2018. Staff is rude, money business. Wont schedule appointments unless you have money they can see first. Terrible bedside manner. read more

Don't waste your time or money. If you're in need of a psychologist, it means you're in need of help, and I was essentially turned away after my son's evaluation. I felt as though the dr didn't listen to me- there were multiple times where I said one thing, yet the complete opposite was written down on our overview of what was discussed. The evaluation process felt rushed. We ended up with no help. read more

Never again. Dr.Negalberg doesn't care about your child, he's only concerned with his wallet. One of his first questions was, how are you going to pay if the insurance doesn't cover? Just by looking at me he assumed I was some poor, non-paying potential bad debt, he was WRONG! On top of his ignorant assumptions, he was very insulting to my family. This place SUCKS. They never pick up your phone call, the receptionist is impatient sounding and rude. They also will not return a call if placed. read more

The doctors here in their own words would "rather go home early" than see a patient. If this is the medical care you want.....have at it.
