However, I went back a few days ago since my vision did not seem quite right with my new progressive glasses, my very first pair of glasses ever. After explaining several times that something wasn't right, I kept getting push back and was told that I simply need to get used to wearing my glasses. Finally, they told me I could take new measurements, after going back and forth. We took the new measurements and it turns out, adjustments to the measurements and the prescription needed to be made. I should not have had to press the staff like that to make sure my measurements and prescriptions were correct.

CustomEyes Pearland was highly rated so I decided to give them a try. Scheduling was pretty easy. I went online and requested an appointment and was called back in a fair amount of time to finish. Their office is located right off 288 and Broadway, easy to get to and has plenty of parking. I arrived early as requested and there was still a bit of a wait even after my appointment. We started off with all the usual tests prior to seeing the doctor. Times have changed when it comes to yearly exams. There is alot of new tests they recommend which also comes with more out of pocket expenses. I found the front desk and others to be straight business without the service with a smile. It's not a must, but it does make you feel a little more welcome. I saw Dr. May on my visit and she was a pleasure to see. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. She ordered a few trials for my contacts and sent my on my way. After that is where I felt service went downhill. I have high astigmatism and I knew there would be a wait, but it was almost 3 weeks without a call from the office. I called once and they said they would get back to me and they didn't. The next time I called about a week later, they said one of the two trials were there and waiting to be picked up. How was I supposed to know that without a call. The same thing happened with my second trial. I just found it odd that I had to reach out every time. Needless to say, though I liked the doctor I saw, the overall customer service left alot to be desired. I didn't even end up using my yearly benefits here. I'm glad many people have liked the service here, but I will keep searching.

This location also has the ability to make lenses onsite so there is very quick turnaround. I also had some eye surgeries so I spoke to PC and he understood what I went through. His knowledge allowed me to get properly made lenses that complimented my recent surgeries. Thank you PC.

During this time many other people came in to visit with the dentist, not patrons, mind you. In a nutshell, we were disregarded, suffered rudeness and requires were asked of us that crosses lines. Also, all the equipment looks like it was new in 1972. I recommend this place be shut down. PLEASE AXOID IT AT ALL COSTS. RUDE MF'RS

The TSO allowed me to return them with another exam for correction. Again new perscriptions and new glasses over $300 with insurance, that I cannot use. They are still way too strong and it hurts my eyes to use them. They just sit there on the desk collecting dust and reminding me how I should have went elsewhere to get glasses. I have been making it on cheap Walgreens readers. But they are not perfect. It's a shame that the Dr's instruments do not match up with what he prescribes for glasses. I can't figure out another solution for his office. But I would not recommend this doctor.

The doctor was an absolute treat, and the young man who adjusts glasses, installs lenses, and I'm sure does much more, couldn't have taken better care of my issue with my old glasses--which I didn't even get from this office! At the front desk, the young ladies were so helpful. They were able to locate and order a pair of Gucci frames I wanted, even though they don't normally keep or display them. This office will definitely be my provider of choice for my time in Houston.
