I called and got an appointment in 2 days, my doctor was understanding and compassionate and validating. I was able to have medication for my flight the same day. I'm on my flight home now feeling great and not at all afraid. Truly a lifesaver, I am so grateful for the professionals here! You all are incredible at what you do! However, my doctor referred me to Palmetto because my insurance company no longer wanted to pay facility fees. Doctors office sent in order to Palmetto for my cancer treatment, marked stat because I was already 2 treatments behind due to the insurance issue. My doctor's office was told by Palmetto that I could get treatment there. I called every few days to check on when I could get treatment, was told they have a process to follow and that I would get a welcome call within a week. Again told they did administer my medication there. After 3 weeks of waiting and getting further behind on treatment, I received a call saying they actually do not administer my medication at their clinic. Precious time wasted! So I am very disappointed in their lack of communication.

They have mentioned that they really like the resident chiropractors and find the reception desk staff to be very friendly and engaging. I can attest to the second part from the times when I was sitting waiting for them. They are generally in and out but the time spent has led me to conversation with their staff. I'm a chatty sort. The reception waiting area is clean and organized with numerous posters that point out issues that one might want to address. There is a parking lot near the practice and it appears that while some spots are dedicated to their office that one can use adjacent lots as well. I cannot speak to it being accessible by public transportation since I'm not too up on that facet of Myrtle Beach living. I've never visited a chiropractor myself but feel if I did have to do that I would hope to have the same kind of experience that my parents have here. Thanks for taking care of them.

I had several medical issues that necessitated attention and he was kind, compassionate and understanding. He answered all my questions and attended to my medical needs with his full attention. I left his office without any questions being unanswered. When I explained to Dr. Meixel and Yvonne about problems I had with another doctor they were understanding and recommended another doctor. Since I don't yet have a gynecologist in the area, he recommended I have a Pap and Mammo. He offered to take care of these issues, and due to my age, I didn't want to sit in an OB/GYN's office I chose to have Dr. Meixel take care of this for me. He was gentle and thorough. Dr. Meixel accepts United Healthcare. I was not sitting and waiting in his office for an extended length of time and all my issues and questions were addressed and answered in a respectful and polite manner. I love Dr. Meixel and Yvonne for the care they provided me and I give them my highest recommendation.

We stayed with Waccamaw Community Care after Dr. Rowles left because it is so close to our home.The doctors they had replace Dr. Rowles with our young with little experience practicing medicine. Dr. Neil is a great doctor however test he has ordered for me in 2016 still have not been scheduled to this day almost one year later. Breast cancer runs deep in my family and I need testing to be cancer free however the office has not schedule my appointment that Dr. Neil requested twice. Now 2017 still waiting for my appointment date. My daughter needed a referral (life or death matter) and it took over 5 months for the office staff to set up the appointment which I found on my own within one week. I had to laugh when they called me 5 months later. My daughters have a new doctor that I love but I am still with this office and feel that I have no medical care since Dr. Rowles left. The office staff need more training. The office staff should not speak negatively about any doctors or nurses in front of the clients. They have not been professional in front of me several occasions.I would not recommend this office to anyone until the staff become more organized. Honestly the only thing this office has is location.

I tried calling, I went in with the patient (and was asked to leave because of patient privacy -even though the patient WANTED ME in the room), and finally I wrote a letter. She never responded.
