Two Story 2352 square foot home & pool was inspected: I am a 1st time home buyer, and Cody Tyler was very helpful in showing / teaching me the process of what a home/pool inspection is. He was on time, and recommended I be there for the inspection if I had the time which I did. During the inspection he had no issues with me following him around and asking questions. It also helped that he is a certified pool inspector, so I was able to get a complete house/pool inspection in one day (4 to 5 hrs). This saved me 3 days during my optional period. Cody's inspection report included pictures, was very detailed, and is easy to interpret. After receiving Cody's inspection report he made himself readily available for any questions I had. I highly recommend Cody Tyler as a home and pool inspector. Especially if your a 1st time home buyer like myself. read more

Coastal Inspections is hands down the best home Inspections company in the Coastal bend area. That old show Holmes on Homes doesn't hold a candlestick to how thorough and caring Scott was on our Inspection. He found stuff in the walls the seller was absolutely trying to hide and I cannot speak highly enough about him. That mold could have amd would have been dangerous to my family. Thats not even mentioning the aluminim wiring you found, that had been ducktailed into copper wiring. Without really getting behind the walls it wouldnt have been found; also a huge danger to the family.Thank you Scott! I'll be calling you again for the next home, since that last one was a doozy. read more

He and his wife are extremely kind and always available to answer questions via phone and/or email. We are truly grateful to have come across Coastal Inspections in our home buying journey. I highly recommend them for your residential inspection in the Coastal Bend area. You won't regret it! read more

This is actually the second inspection he has completed for us, and his detailed work previously saved us from purchasing a home that required major repairs. In addition to his attentiveness, he delivered his findings in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Coastal Inspections, as they truly provide 5-star service. read more

Cody Tyler from Coastal Inspections just saved us from buying a lemon that looked great on the outside but was rotten on the inside. The VA appraisal stated that the house was in great shape. But Cody discovered a dozen serious deficiencies that would have been ruinously expensive to fix had we purchased the property. We would be happy to recommend Coastal Inspections to anyone buying a property in Corpus Christi, Texas. read more

Cody was great. This is the second home that Coastal Inspections has done for me, but the first one Cody did. He is very thorough. Sometimes I think the realtors don't like it, (LOL). But they are really looking out for the customers when it comes to what needs to be repaired on homes. I'd use them again if needed. read more
