He found very few issues with my home, but the peace of mind he gave me with his expert knowledge and helpful preventative maintenance tips are priceless. He even provided an inspection of the above ground pool that is included with my new home. He did an excellent job asking questions about the pool and deck to ensure he was pricing my inspection correctly. Our house was struck by lightning on the 26th of December, 2018. As a result of the strike my insurance agency asked for an electrical inspection. I searched the web and finally turned to Yelp where I found First Source Home Inspections. I contacted David who agreed to come out the next morning which was Wednesday, 2 January. It was raining and just nasty outside but David showed up on time and about his work. I found him to be very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He went through our outside electrical panel (even though it was raining) and our inside electrical panel and then through every room in the house including the garage and our 3 attics and used his thermal imager for hot spots and checked receptacles and switches for any sign that anything was compromised. Although he did not find any damage related to the lightning strike he found some items that needed attention. He went over his report with me before he left. I felt my mind was now at ease because of the quality of the inspection and the insurance company is going to get an excellent product to look at.
