Remax Tiffany Real Estate

Remax Tiffany Real Estate

(13 reviews)

We hired DiAnne Spain at ReMax Tiffany to sell my Mother's Buena Park, Ca. home in January 2019…read more BEST DECISION EVER! I consider myself to be a smart, well educated, DIY kind of guy. So why hire an Agent when you can do it yourself with the help of all of the internet services available today? I'll tell you why: Because buying/selling real property never goes smoothly and it isn't cookie cutter. Every property needs one thing or another (or a bunch more) to present it at its best, pass inspection, and ensure the maximum price can be generated. This means managing contractors and staging, selecting the right bidder/offer that takes time honed experience, dealing with the opposing agent, and there are also always problems that need to be rectified along the way through to escrow closure. This is where an experienced realtor comes in, and DiAnne Spain is the best agent I have had in my experience in buying, selling and refinancing multiple real estate properties over several decades. My experience with DiAnne went as follows: We met for 1-2 hours and walked through my Mother's 1956 home. She had several home improvement suggestions to enhance the homes sale valuation without doing extensive renovation or remodeling (read: without pouring in more $$$ than necessary). She called it "rehab", and the room-by-room, interior and exterior plan she devised was meant to bring the home out of the 1950's and 1970's, and into a more contemporary design that would appeal more to today's buyers. It became quickly apparent that we were not just dealing with a real estate professional that only had a keen sense for the market in our area and what Buyer's wanted, but we were also hiring an interior/exterior designer, a contract manager, and an on-site coordinator all in one - and for the price of just the realtor. There was never any pressure to implement the plan, and she accepted our guidance freely. She was willing to work with us in a way that made us comfortable. At the end of that first meeting, we had an improvement plan in hand with a draft budget for labor and material expenses...and we knew we had the right agent! DiAnne's connections are vast. We were able to bring in handyman professionals that cost less than contractors but were able to get the job done equally well. The house was soon ready and up on the market within the proposed timeframe, at a price that was significantly higher than we had originally expected prior to meeting DiAnne. There was some plumbing, termite, electrical and other issues that DiAnne also dealt with along the way to ensure the house would meet code and be a safe environment for a new buyer. She coordinated it all! Then the marketing began. You know the "Energizer Bunny?" DiAnne is like that: She just keeps going and going and going. DiAnne had every base covered: MLS and web presence on every search engine with professional photos, she even went door-to-door throughout the neighborhood handing out flyers to ensure everyone knew the home was now on the market. She staged the house herself and it looked great, costing us $0! We had three open houses in the first two weeks and several offers as a result to choose from. In the end, we had a 100% positive experience. DiAnne's communication skills are excellent, and she will keep you abreast of everything at every step of the way. Not to say that everything went perfectly. Remember that it is never a smooth/cookie cutter process. Our first buyer had complications on their end necessitating that they back out of the deal, but DiAnne was in close contact with the Buyer's agent and knew of the potential issue as it materialized. She had continued marketing the home, and after the deal went south, we had two other offers on the table within 24 hours - and at a higher sales price than the original offer. Had it not been for DiAnne, we would have made significantly less on the home's sale, and it would have taken significantly longer to close. Now we feel smart, happy, and know that our buyers have a terrific new home - and our old neighbors are very pleased too at the sale price we received! Hire DiAnne without hesitation.

We contacted John Binder as a local Real-estate Representative and after 35-days of back and forth corrections to our listing and without a single showing by him, we requested to terminate our contract. The only showing we got were from other realtors in the 35-40-days it was listed. After a another weekend of frustration and not hearing from him, we asked to terminate our relationship. He repeatedly apologized and admitted he dropped the ball and didn't do a good job for us but would start from here on out. He repeatedly begged us to keep the listing with him. We explained again we had lost faith in him and really just wanted to go a different route. This experience has been extremely exhausting that we no longer want to sell or rent out our home. If you sign with John Binder, we hope it works out for you. I'm sure it will for him.

How could he have no idea that he had a game for his son? He has no professionalism or compassion. I let him know the whole situation before scheduling to see the house today and had to take time off as I could not work. He was not sorry or anything: He simply asked if we could come at 11am instead of 10 am but we already had plans and could not leave other people hanging like that to see other homes. That is not right. Apparently we are not worthy of his time or maybe it's because we are Latinos?? Hmm needless to say to stay away from this company all together. I could not rate him on ratemyagent.com because we did not buy or sell a home from him but we will let the community know about this lack of compassion and professionalism. Thank you for showing us who you are!

As I slowed to enter a driveway off a 4 lane major street, I slowed down as to not scrape on a very graded entrance and she felt the need to honk at me to hurry and get to the red light. No need to do business with someone who cannot display patience or common courtesy. If you have the opportunity to find service elsewhere, I would suggest it. Don't need to give rude people money.

Serious concerns about maintenance and management follow-through…read more Nearly four weeks after reporting broken move-in fixtures, and 13 days after reporting an active kitchen-sink leak in writing, maintenance has not visited. Despite repeated follow-ups and management's acknowledgment, there is still no confirmed repair appointment. The lease requires customary diligence in maintaining fixtures and making reasonable repairs, and best efforts to repair water leaks within seven days of written notice. In my experience, management has failed to honor those commitments. The carpet was reportedly professionally cleaned, but even after I hired a professional to steam-clean it, vacuuming continues to collect unusually large amounts of dust. The walls are thin, and the cabinets are extremely old. My main concern is not cosmetic wear. It is leaving an active leak and broken fixtures unaddressed with no concrete plan to resolve them. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Casa Grande.

To anyone out there who is looking to buy a home in the year 2014 and beyond, Nationwide Real Estate Executives is the place where dreams happen. My husband and I walked into their offices on June 18, 2013 and closed escrow on our dream home on July 26, 2013. Our buying attempt in June 2013 was one of many and frankly I really did not want to go into the Nationwide office that day. With my husband's persistence, I showed up and it was the best choice EVER!!! Ben Gomez was patient, kind, professional, optimistic, knowledgeable, and business oriented. Ben worked patiently with our family throughout the entire transaction and is still in our lives today. Ben took all steps to ensure that we closed and that we were satisfied. Our family is very fortunate to have met someone so authentic and honest. I could not let the year 2013 end without posting this because Ben Gomez and Nationwide both deserve the kudos!!!!!! Thank you Ben Gomez, and I am sure Nationwide is aware that they have a gem on their hands. I will never process another real estate transaction without you!!!!!
