Dr. Mears got her in the same day we left the other practice. (The doctor at the other practice clearly did not what she was doing as far as how to handle a scared teen whose gums were in pain, clearly inflamed and fluid filled. I mean really, when does it make sense to attempt to administer something to numb gums that are full of fluid? That made her pain 1000 times worse) Dr. Mears put her at ease, evaluated her condition and set her up for a root canal appointment to follow her 1 week of antibiotics which was necessary to clear the infection. He was amazing with follow up care while on the antibiotics and pain medicine and even made adjustments to her medicine. Even the after-procedure care and communication were top notch. I've been to over 15 dental offices across multiple states, and this is by far the worst dental…read morepractice I've ever experienced. There is always a wait past your scheduled appointment time--at least 30 minutes, but usually 45 minutes to over an hour. You might as well take the entire day off work because nothing runs on time. We've had to reschedule multiple appointments simply because I could not wait an additional hour past my appointment time. Once you're finally taken back, the waiting continues. Every time, they applied the topical numbing gel and then left me sitting so long that it wore off before the injection, causing unnecessary pain. In one instance, I was fully prepped and numbed only for the dentist to come in and say there was a mistake and that no procedure was needed at all. Both my spouse and I have dealt with excessively long waits, repeated scheduling errors, and poor-quality dental work. I had a root canal that took weeks to complete, and my bite is messed up as a result. It feels like they are not allowed to turn patients away, so instead they do such poor work that you won't want to come back anyway. I'm writing this to warn any potential new patients-RUN! There are far better dental offices out there. I genuinely feel bad for their current patients and hope they realize they have much better options.

I cried in the chair and the doctor continued to work on me, it wasn't until it was evident to all that I was hysterical under the drills they then said "oh it's just a hot tooth" after working on it for 10+ minutes with me crying. Needless to say the root canal was divided in two appointments and completed. Fast forward to 2026, a root canal is needed on the same tooth with multiple doctors asking me "did you go to a specialist the first time?". After the procedure, they informed me that I had a canal that was completely missed in my 2021 root canal and only 3/4 of the canals were properly done. I would recommend finding a different location unless you want a painful, expensive, half done procedure. It's 2026, the doctor is still the same so I'm sure there will be others in the future who will have similar complaints.
