I have not been seen by Dr. Pipek, so I cannot speak to the quality of his medical care. However,…read moremy experience attempting to establish care as a new patient raised significant concerns about the administrative side of the practice. I called the office shortly before closing to ask about the new patient process. After waiting on hold, my call was answered but disconnected while I was introducing myself and explaining that I was a new patient. I called back immediately and remained on hold until the call was routed to the after-hours answering service, who took a message. I then downloaded the new patient paperwork from the website and completed the forms, but the email address listed on the website for submission returned my email as undeliverable on multiple attempts. Based on these interactions, I was unable to establish contact or submit new patient paperwork. While Dr. Pipek may be an excellent physician, my experience with the new patient intake process and front office communication left me with no confidence that I could rely on the administrative staff to provide the level of communication, record handling, and coordination that I expect from a medical provider. These administrative functions are a critical part of patient care.

To start - we love Dr. Pipek. The ISSUE is this - they have got to have one of THE worst office managers on the planet! They have issues managing their data; we've gone into his office several times and had Dr. Pipek tell us he doesn't have the data from another office, lab, procedure, etc. I mean if it happened once, maybe twice I would say it could be the fault of the other office/lab, etc - however, this has happened multiple times! We've called several times and been on the phone upwards of 20 + minutes trying to get someone to answer the phone and finally just hung up. We've had to call multiple times to have orders faxed over to different labs and offices to have work done, etc. and that rarely happens - we've either had to have the lab/offices contact Dr Pipek's office to get the info. This is just not very professional. I mean it's one thing when the doctor is awesome - but whoever is managing the administration part of his practice is HORRIBLE and makes the experience painful! Additionally, I did call twice to get the office manager on the phone and have yet to have any luck with that endeavor.

Was a patient for several years and unfortunately things changed late last year. Had Telehealth…read morewith Dr. Mazza, my husband was present. At this time some of my labs were still pending, Dr. Mazza informed me as soon as they came in she would call me back as well as inform me of any dose changes. After waiting a few weeks I had to call the office because I was out of at least one of my prescriptions. At this time, I let the office manager Mandy know that I needed a refill and also to know about dosages and that Dr. Mazza had never called me back. I also was inquiring about needing vitamin C IV for my immune. The prescription was called in however I never got a phone call from the doctor. I called back the office again asking if I could speak to Dr. Mazza since I never heard back and I was told no as I already had a follow up . I also let Mandy know that I had a doctors order with a new diagnosis and my medical need was urgent for vitamin C to which Mandy the office manager still told me no. I don't think Mandy understood that I had just had an appointment and was not listening to the fact I was still awaiting a follow up call with lab results I never received any follow up call from Dr. Mazza and after I had to seek another provider, I found out I was on the wrong dosage but at least one of the prescriptions. I also found out that I needed to be put on an additional prescription outside to that Dr. Mazza was already writing me. My next appointment that was set by the office was scheduled in May however, when I called back the office after I completely ran out of the other medication that I thought she was going to let me know where I stood for my labs last fall I called into the office and they told me I would have to make an appointment to address all the issues even though I kept trying to explain to them. I never got my follow up phone call from the previous appointment that I was assured that I would get. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for March since I had no other option unfortunately, when March came, my health had declined so bad I was unable to even get out of bed and my husband had to call in only to find out that they expected me to do another set of labs that they never told me about initially when I made the appointment. During that call, I also found out that the second prescription that I needed should have been another dose, and I have been taken from my last set of labs. Frustrated and exhausted from the lack of communication I knew at this time it was to trust the new provider and to start making the change over to not just a good doctor, but also a good office manager . Hoping to get the doctors attention and how her office was being ran I did unfortunately comments on their business Facebook page of my distress and disparity which they deleted and then told me I couldn't no longer be a patient (which at that point I knew she could not be as they were not taking me seriously). I wish Dr. Mazza only the best however, I do hope her office staff can be reevaluated for consistent care for patients especially those that are high risk.

While the office itself is fairly large and on both occasions I've seen a few folks waiting, patients are brought back fairly quickly. The nurse I've seen twice is personable yet professional. Dr. Constant is incredibly thorough, organized and has a great "bed-side manner. He made knowledge pertaining to my thyroid highly accessible to me without ever being condescending. While he is working with a patient, he has someone in the exam room transcribing for him. I believe this allows him to spend more time addressing patient concerns as opposed to documenting. I would highly recommend Dr. Constant for care of your endocrine system.

I would have loved to have come in but I never got notified about this place being open. I came back recently due to their REFUSAL to refill my insulin. They refused to fill my insulin to force me to come in when they hadn't attempted to reschedule my appointment when they reopened! When they refused to refill my insulin I went to make an appointment and it was schedule 7 weeks later. I had to buy my insulin on the open market even though I had health insurance. I was most frustrated because if they had simply told me they were open I would have been in. Do they forget that nearly everyone has phones? They certainly knew I had a phone due to their prior pandemic reminders, and their text message asking me to confirm my appointment earlier today. Did something happen to create an atmosphere of apathy here? Is there some new research that says denying diabetics insulin is helpful? Is denying diabetics insulin the most efficient way to contact their patients? If you're a diabetic with a predictable life then this might be the place for you. But if your life is chaotic I would recommend going to doctor who swore an oath to do no harm. They get two stars because they've done good work in the past. I wish they'd return to their previous quality
