Unfortunately the owner of the company is not customer oriented. They do not concern themselves with repeat business. When installing curbing they ignore where your irrigation system is marked, even when pointed out while still on site. Then when requested to correct, they ignored the issue for 2 weeks. After multiple calls they finally came out to move the sprinkler head, not the curbing. Once you give them money don't expect customer service or correcting mistakes. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere! We are VERY disappointed! We were promised a "one stop shop" for plant and palm tree installation, and curbing. Our original install date for the job was in September 2025, but that got moved to the end of November. The tree installation was never done. Greg, the owner, claimed they did not have the manpower or equipment to install an 11' palm in November/December. When I called back in March 2026, Greg seemed surprised to hear from me and told me that he was still unable to complete the job. Basically, he left us hanging and made it clear, from his tone of voice, that our business was concluded. We discovered that the planting beds were not properly covered with weed mat, and many edges were visible over the mulch. In addition, the concrete curbing dried many shades lighter than the color we chose. Beware of Coastal Curbs! We are Senior Citizens and they did a horrible job. I was told the Belgium Block was supposed to be 4" high & it's 1"-2" max around Palm Tree Mortar left all over my yard very sloppy work. I called the owner Greg to come out to look and he refused to even look at the mess saying I was mean on the phone. My neighbor used Curbscapes & they did a beautiful job. We had our pond done by this company and paid a pretty penny for it. Once the pond was in it worked for about 2 weeks, we called and they came back and fixed it, with electrical tape!!! Obviously it broke 3 more times and we were yelled at by the owner who proceeded to call us names. Every time they came back, they fixed it with tape instead of replacing the hoses. Very frustrated with this company and the owner Greg who was very rude and never came back to fix his work. My husband had to dig up everything and fix it correctly. Have not had a problem since. Do yourself a favor, avoid this company. They did curbs around our flower beds and trees and the concrete is chipping. They came out to look at it and stated I would have to pay for their poor workmanship. I am so sorry I did not use Curbscape. So we had this company do our curbing and some landscaping for us - the 1st thing I noticed different from the company my neighbor ultimately uses was they did not remove the pine straw and clear the ground before laying down the fabric. Explained this was a better way - I am sure its a 50/50 thing amongst the landscaping community. Now knowing I was having curbing done, I clearly marked all my sprinkler head locations but that went slightly awry as well. When they were complete, they told me to test the system in a week and if we had any problems, to call them and they'd fix them. We did have problems but in my opinion, having everything clearly marked, there was no reason to curb over or even compromise them. Simply adjust the curbing line and do your thing. Well when they came back - they had to dig up the ground surrounding one of the heads and then yanked on the line to move the head our from under their curb. While that seemed ok, a few days later - i had a leaking head which is constant further down the line from where the tug of war was done. We called and the person my wife talked to, with me sitting right next to her, was rude and accused her of being rude to him. Now I was sitting right there and she was listening to his explanation - she never said anything until he accused her of being rude - and it take alot to even upset my wife. She handed me the phone and my 1st question to him was - please explain to me the point at which she got rude. Well Mr Opie Gregory or Gregory Opie then demonstrated his total lack of customer service to me, a person who works in customer service the last 30+ years. I tried to explain but he felt his years of experience outweighed what we were trying to tell him. At a minimum, I would have expected him to stop by and at least see the problem, but that wasn't going to happen and the call ended. Honestly we are new to the area and I am beginning to think companies down here don't give a damn once they have your money! Given my experience with this company - I HIGHLY ADVISE AVOIDING THESE CLOWNS at all cost! They also should not have covered my other heads with fabric when they put the stones down - I made sure I cleared those but it's disappointing when I see the care the other company took doing my neighbors property. read more

seeing mixed reviews, I talked to the owner about the not so good reviews. we purchased the water feature pond. the owner was par of the installation . he left early and the workers were anxious to leave. we have had to make several changes to make it operational. pumps were installed and not working properly (water depth) . we are working on water leaks, hopefully this will be resolved. any way, don't expect any service after the sale. we have had to work several hours to resolve most issues. if we d get the leak problem resolved we love the feature. We had the front and side of the house plus around tree and fire hydrant with stone, curbing and a 6 foot palm planted in the front bed. They came and did an awesome job. The owner called me the next day that his workers had spilled some of the sealer on the sidewalk and he would be out to take care of it. Next day he was out with a wire wheel and cleaning the spill. I knew nothing of this, his workers sent a picture and he took care of it. They explained care of the curbing until it was cured and care for the palm. We noticed after a really short time pieces were just falling off in chunks and when they finally came out to look at... without letting us know they were coming...they would do nothing. NO NO NO!!! Should have done more research. They have now done the work three (3) times. Each one was more shoddy than the last. The color is wrong, there are white spots all over the cement, some areas are graying, the corners are not smooth and some spots are crumbling. There are cracks showing up. When we called Greg (the owner/that was some experience in itself), he was rude, talked over you, yelled and screamed and carried on like a child. Said he would not come out to look at the work done by his crew. Although he had previously (after the second time) come out and said the work was awful and it would be redone. Hence the third cement work was done. Horrible, horrible, horrible. He was supposed to be on scene for this work, but supposedly was ill. But, never followed up with a visit and refuses to come out to see this mess he has left us with. He still owes us a second sealant application which I am sure we will never see. His workers spilled sealant on my walkway and driveway and never cleaned it up either. It was not an inexpensive project, but it looks like BUYER BEWARE caught me this time. I asked them to come in to turn off our irrigation system and to replace the plastic cap that was broken over one of the sprinkler heads. When I returned to SC the cap to the sprinkler head was still missing. I spoke to Greg the owner and he swore he put it in and that someone must have stolen it. They were on time......after that, it went down hill. They did not measure the new flower beds for accurate measurements, having me tell them twice that they were not even. So my beds were off by 3 inches on one end, which made them crooked. A new bed isn't straight in the yard. Was told that I would preview where my new plants would go, didn't happen. They made my 2 beds nearly a foot wider then what was discussed at estimate, leading to not enough coverage of the new stones. The crew played around throwing stones at each other. The curbing does look nice, but as to the landscaping, no....my existing plants, I had to pay extra to move them to another bed, were half covered with the new stones, damaging them. I also was charged extra for my plants, even though I went to a nursery that they work with, some over 10% more. I would not use this company again or recommend. read more

I was to have rock laid down in the beds and curbing installed . They arrived pretty much on time, a little early. They seemed very well organized. They began laying down the fabric, and pinning it down where needed. Now- I must tell you-my neighbors had them do their curbs so I knew what I needed to do because I have termite traps ans sprinkler heads in the beds. I went and purchased PVC pipe to cut and put around the sprinkler heads and termite traps. They laid the fabric down, and since this is their business, I didn't feel I needed to watch over them- Boy was I wrong! They made cut outs around the termite traps and I thought AL of the sprinkler heads. They dumped the rock into the beds. They covered EVERYTHING I had taken time, money, and effort to have them not cover. I asked them why they covered the sprinkler heads-they said don't worry-the water pressure will drive the heads up. What they didn't tell me was the small rocks now fell down into the PVC pipe preventing the heads from retracting all the way down. I had to dig all the rock out from the termite traps and the sprinkler heads. Then I was watching my zones and thought I'm missing some sprinkler heads- Sure enough- I ended up uncovering three heads they covered with fabric and rock! When they charge what they charge- there is NO EXCUSE for this kind of poor workmanship! Will not recommend! read more
