The store is big, with three different entrances, each taking you into a separate portion of the store but still connecting you to the entire shop. One portion is shoes, and the other two are dedicated to clothing and accessories of differing brands. We stopped by to browse and started with the shoes but decided against spending $70 on a pair of flip flops. We ventured into the clothing areas and found the pricing a bit high for all things from shirts to hats, shorts to coolers. They had a small glasses display with Ray-Ban's, but again they were priced slightly higher than the website, and since I did not need them immediately, I passed. My nephew did purchase a hat, which I supported. The hats were in wide variety from colors to design, so I appreciated the purchase. Service was a bit lacking. We were in the store for well over 20 minutes and I was not spoken to one time by an Associate. Overall, Hy's Toggery is quintessential PCB vibes and a good spot to wander around in when visiting Pier Park. Disappointed in the service, or lack thereof. This combined with prices being a bit higher than retail make it a hard sell to scoop up goods from. But, with that, the quality is there. So, give and take.

It wasn't until my mother-in-law and I visited Christina D Swim & Resort that I realized finding the perfect suit doesn't have to be a struggle or embarrassing. Christina has a natural way of working with clients that makes this process such a positive and empowering one. She fit me perfectly and was truthful and helpful the whole process long. Her selection is top notch and beautiful. Most tops are sized according to bra size, which is so refreshing. I found not one, but two perfectly fitting suits that make me feel confident, beautiful and ready for any beach day or boat outing. Please don't wait, run to her shop and support this amazing, local shop owner! I wish 10 stars was an option!

Shopping for bathing suits is normally such a demoralizing experience for me. I become keenly aware…read morethat my body is not the same as it used to be. It had been years since I had been swimsuit shopping for the above reasons. Then I put on my old suits and feel worse because they don't fit the same. Alas, I found Christina and it all changed. I have to note that I went to another shop in the area and they barely looked up to say hi. Christina asked a few questions and then had me trying on fits and sizes. I used to get caught up in sizes but that is a huge mistake with women's clothes. I walked out with a wonderful melange of swimsuits, that will make me not have to shop for a few years. The level of customer service is outstanding. Shopping with someone that knows the styles and fits and how a bathing suit should fit makes all the difference in the world. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for making this experience a good one. In a few years when it's time for new suits, I will come back just to see her. No joke.

It's a classic little beach shop, packed wall-to-wall with colorful gear and fun finds for tourists. Avi knows the coast up and down, he's been here 30 years and can get you set up with the right gear at the right price. Purchased a skimboard setup for my young teen son. Avi was there to answer questions, give advice and share his in-depth knowledge of the area. Never once did I feel pressured or ignored (try that at one of the beachfront tourist stores) he spent the time helping my son find the right kit. After the sale, Avi setup the traction pads and demonstrated proper waxing. He also included a block of free board wax. Great service all around. If you're wondering about the price difference; I actually saved money over the tourist stores for the same products.
