They said they'd repair it and ship it back for free but I was drove from outta and didn't wanna go through the hassle. It was just cheaper to pay a cobbler. The boots were high quality and I'm considering buying another pair from them considering the minor defect. They did have all the accessories you need to wash and clean your boots so I bought that stuff too. This was my very first day wedding dress shopping and I had the worst experience, definitely not how I wanted to start my wedding dress experience. When I walked into my appointment the lady (Sheri, I believe) was super nice and excited that I was there. She asked for my info and then I started to explain what I liked. We then went to the dresses and I noticed she was just going to whatever dress however, I wanted to let her know what my budget was (which was very reasonable.) As soon as I said what my budget was her entire persona changed. She immediately said sharply we mainly have designer and you're going to need to shop clearance to get that price. I'm fine with clearance so it was no big deal! Anyways she did not have us try to look for dresses we may like, she was only allowed to pick and choose. I noticed she was grabbing some that I knew I didn't like and I politely mentioned "hey I don't like this, or this isn't my style". We then went to the dressing room to try a few on. Instead of trying to help me into my dresses she wanted one of my family members there to help. Which was fine. But she never tried to clip or adjust anything to where it would actually fit my body better if it was altered or in my size. The first dress I tried on, I came out of the fitting room to show my mom. As I was looking in the mirror I started mentioning the things I did and didn't like so we could move forward and find something more of my style. The worker immediately butted in and said we're not here to waste time and pick apart the dress, just go try on another one. So I tried on another one that I thought was more of my style. I walked out and again and started to mention that I definitely like the shape I initially wanted more. The lady came up to me and was like you're being confusing, I don't know what you want. You say you want this but you're trying on this. She was very sharp and rude. The reason I was trying on the ones I didn't like was because she wasn't listening to me and only giving me ones SHE LIKED. So I walked towards the fitting room and the lady was like try this one on but if you put it on and don't like it, don't waste our time and come out to the platform. I was very upset by this point. She wasn't listening to me, she didn't try to find something I like, and she was mad that I was firm on my price range (keep in mind when I booked my appointment, their prices WERE NOT posted online so I had no idea what the ranges were when I booked the appointment). So I was in the dressing room and my mom and family member came into the dressing room and I explained how I was feeling. I was very upset that the lady told me not to waste our time coming to the platform if I didn't like the dress. Even if I didn't like it, I wanted to show my mom. I want this experience with my mom. So while I was attempting to change dresses the lady popped her head in and said if you like it but it's out of your price range that's not my problem. We have layaway and you have plenty of time to pay it off, it's fine if it's out of your budget. After she left I took off the dress I was attempting to put on and I was done with how I was being treated. Keep in mind I was not even 20 MINUTES into a 1hr and 30 min appointment. I got dressed and we left. I know my price range is VERY reasonable and I don't appreciate how she was having me continually try on dresses that made me look bad or were out of my budget. I truly believe she did this so that I would "fall in love" with a dress and buy it no matter the price. If she would have gotten the chance to know and understand me, she would've known that I can easily put down something that I like, but know is not within my price range. I can say I will NEVER come back to the boutique or recommend it. No bride should be pressured or coerced into a dress that is not within their budget OR be treated poorly for having a set budget.
