Wow! From start to finish Andrea and Bonnie were fantastic. I decided probably 2 months before my kids Bdays to get them into a dirtbike class after hearing amazing reviews from friends. I reached out to Andrea and we scheduled a family class for my 3 kids and even I decided to join in on the fun. I was a little nervous about my daughters at first but within an hour of starting the class I could see the confidence building in my kids. Andrea is very patient and a very skilled instructor who makes learning a breeze. My daughters are ages 17 ,15 and my son is 10. Wow - what an awesome day on the bikes! My friends and I are street riders and wanted to give trail riding a try. We had an absolute blast! We spent the first part working on necessary skills and then hit the trails. I couldn't imagine a more perfect learning experience! If you want to learn to ride a dirt bike, this is the place to go. The other group had no riding experience and some also didn't know how to drive a stick shift. But, I saw them riding and full of smiles by the end of the day. Myself along with a group of friends wanted to learn how to ride dirt bikes and went searching for a group class. Found "Coach 2 Ride" online and tried them out. We are glad we did because the class and teachers were great! The class is taught by two certified instructors: Bonnie and Andrea, who really know their stuff. No one had experience riding a dirt bike or motorcycle and by the end of the class we felt like pros! They really do a good job teaching you all the basics of riding first like how to duck walk the bike and slowly progress, ending with a fun trail ride. We learned how to shift, stand up while riding, and all. The class is cheaper with a group rate, I believe we had 6 people in our group. Includes all the gear you need to ride (clothes, helmets, shoes, etc). Even includes some snacks and drinks too! This took place at the barona speedway in it's own little spot. My only gripe is that they took pictures for us and we have yet to receive them (months ago). If I can get the group back together, I definitely want to take their next level up class and do some real trail riding. btw...11/2010 and I never did get my cd of pics =( read more

I just finished my dirt bike school March 29. My husband has grown up riding and while I had interest in learning, it was more for street riding ie; Sunday rides up in the mountains!!! My husband found this website online and after much hesitation (nerves and intimidation) I can only say how empowering to learn how to ride something I thought would be really cool but perhaps difficult to get into given my late start (I'm 39 but the body screams older, ricketty knees, back issues, etc...) I worked with Bonnie and I was lucky enough to get her instruction one-on-one!!! I have NEVER ridden any type of motorcycle, dirt bike, scooter, you name it with a motor! I do know how to ride a bicycle and my car is a stick shift which helped me grasp the concept of using a clutch. I felt completely at ease with Bonnie. She is very patient and what I appreciated most was her ability to explain things in a very clear, concise way. I learn by observing and her style of teaching was perfect for me that way. I tend to over-analyze a bit, but her explanation and guidance left no room to present any type of "what if"...I felt her detailed instruction covered any potential for that! I was glad that I didn't have any experience because I truly felt the fundamental basics of dirt bike riding taught by this level of expertise was a great foundation for me to kick-start my interest in riding. We were at Barona and it was a beautiful day! I would really love to take more riding classes from Bonnie! It was an awesome day and well worth the inexpensive cost to learn from a true professional!!! The trail ride around the area was really cool!!! I never in a million years thought I would be able to ride, but with her help, I now can:) Pursuing an interest and achieving what you set out to do is one of the most rewarding, empowering, confidence-boosting things to be able to do for yourself. They did a great job of starting from the ground up and also did a great job of splitting their efforts on each individual student. Coach 2 Ride was an awesome experience! The three of us took a beginner class with Bonnie and it was soooo fun! Bonnie was an excellent teacher and went above and beyond to help us get outfitted and get on the bikes we were comfortable with. She was a great teacher, because she assesses your skill level and teaches based on it. She teaches you the skills and techniques to ride and then we got to do practice rounds. At the end, she took us out on the trail to ride. We all felt comfortable and the ride was so much fun! She encouraged us to try 3rd and 4th gears and to stand up and use the skills we learned. She was easy going, friendly, and we are definitely coming back for more! read more

I just attended Coach2ride dirt bike school on Sunday March 20th. I have been wanting to learn how to ride and found their website while scouring the internet one night. I was excited to be taught by women and learn the actual fundamentals of riding that will keep me safe and give me a solid foundation to build my skills upon. Andrea and Bonnie are very relaxed and make it easy to learn even if you are completely unfamiliar with a dirt bike (or any bike at all!). I have never touched a bike before this day, and the instruction was absolutely what I needed to give me the confidence to continue my learning. I had friends offer to teach me, but I felt it was easier to learn in when there is no pressure to perform and by someone you don't know. It is perfectly okay to ask any question or concern you might have without feeling stupid. I would love to take another novice class to get a little better before going out by myself. I am 28, so don't think this is just for kids! read more

We visited Coach2Ride last weekend. We had a 7 and 8 year old boys and a 9 year old girl. Of all of our kids had little to no experience in riding motorcycles. Bonnie and Andrea were both available so we had two instructors. The instructors taught the very basics of motorcycle riding from the parts of the bike, accelerating, braking, shifting, standing, going over obstacles etc. The instructors' calmness along with their experience made it a very valuable day for all of us. I have been riding scooters, dirt motorcycles, and street motorcycles on and off off for almost 30 years and I learned a lot from watching their instruction. This driving school is AMAZING. My husband and son went today. The people running this place are top notch. Not only did our son learn how to ride; but they had someone look over our son's bike and basically give it a tune up for free. Plus, they gave my son some riding pants and many other things. My brother and I took Bonnie's advanced class and I am amazed at how much I took away from it. We have both been riding for about 12 years but Bonnie had so much to offer. I had a great time. I grew up riding dirt bikes, and wanted to give my family a chance to see how much fun it is. After searching the internet, I contacted Bonnie at Coach 2 Ride. I booked a day with Bonnie in Ramona, CA, in the middle of a vacation in San Diego. She brought the motorcycles, all the riding gear (leathers, boots, jersey, pads, helmet, goggles) and her great attitude. My son, who was 10 at the time and barely comfortable on his bicycle, was zooming around the track by the end of the day on a 100cc honda with gear shift, hand clutch and all. My wife, who wasn't sure she wanted to give it a try, had a blast - the biggest problem was trying to get her to slow down.
