I counted 11 pounds. I wanted to get a beer for that price that was on the beer. Before buying I asked whether this price is correct. Mrs. operator confirmed it. Unfortunately, yesterday said that nothing could do because there is no manager. Ask Me to come tomorrow. I came today. Unfortunately, the manager was not nice to me. He called me a liar. He made me Crazy . He changed the price. I signed the receipt. By the shop. Store manager kicked me out of the store. He challenged. He raised his voice. I feel cheated. Humbled. Staff are always friendly and helpful, even in busy times! Even on Sunday mornings, they have milk bread and other stuff that other shops tend to run out of towards the end of the week. Offers mirror that of the larger Sainsburys stores & its always helpful having a local shop where I can collect Nectar points when I'm buying milk or chocolate! I couldn't recommend this shop anymore. Its a great place.

Cheap good quality homeware.Can get bed covers really cheap and very modern pillows and plaques…read more They have alot instore and the store is really big. sometimes looks a mess but if you know what your going for the staff are friendly and will take you to what you ask for :) you can get a really good bargain in the sales but you have to get their early as they do slash the prices quite a lot and have stickers everywhere on things saying half price. Good people skills here and it is good value for money. Would recommend for good value nice things.

Waitrose has more fresh produce, meats (like inexpensive lamb), good selection of cheeses, and things you can't get in the states at normal shops. Waitrose is better branded with all sorts of carry bags, keychains, umbrellas and the like. Great place, great experience, I just wish they carried more speciality items from other countries/regions.

I can particularly recommend Asda's ready made Indian takeaway that you just zap in the microwave its really good and a fraction of the cost from a curry house. I also think its great that they now stock Polish food and some Russian too. Their own brand products are brilliant value, and they have great ideas for kids lunch boxes. Upstairs are clothes, toys and electrical with homewares too. You can get most things. They only downside is that we shop here thinking we are going to save money on the weekly food shop - but end up with a higher total bill as we get sucked in to buying other stuff that we see upstairs!! The childrens uniforms and basics like t-shirts from here start at £1 and you can't get much better than that.

If at all possible, divert your course and see if you can get enough fresh veg to feed your family from the market instead - but most of the time I can't because stores like this have killed local business and I too must shop there.
