I called Savage plumbing on the recommendation of a friend. My main drain was backed up and needed…read moreimmediate attention. They fit me in within a week and two techs came and "cleared roots" from the drain. I asked them to please use blades to better clear the blockage and was assured this wasn't necessary. Within a week the my basement was flooded again. I called the owner and told him and and he said he was waiting on a new cable as the one they used was broken. It was broken when he sent the techs out. It was too short and there was no way of putting blades on. I was assured he would call me the following Monday or Tuesday once he received the new cable. He never called or responded to my texts. I had to go out of town for two weeks and when I returned I called and was told he had forgotten about me. Then he proceeded to tell me that the cable he was sent was the wrong one and would check status and get back to me. No call backs no response to text messages. I've given up. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I told her I would not be home but my partner would be as he's in a wheelchair, so please ask the technician to give him time to get to the door. She asked for his name and number and she'd have them call ahead to give him plenty of time to get into his wheelchair. The technician was also extremely helpful and kind with my partner. After an hour or so, I was informed the snake was getting stuck, and he had to call a camera guy in. Camera guy informs me that tree roots have damaged my line and a 30' section needs to be replaced to the tune of over 9k. I called a small local company for a second opinion. It wasn't tree roots - the line itself was broken and everything was draining into the dirt, hence the backflow when there was more water than could be quickly absorbed. They recommended the same amount of line be replaced, but for half the price.

Stouter plumbing helped us with both. It turns out that flushable wipes are not flushable. A basketball-sized set of wipes came out of the drain.
