Also, they're open late during the week but closed on weekends. I got there early but was called back on time. Tara listened to me and gave me advice and an hour or so later I had beautiful hair again! My home dye turned my hair orangey-red and Tara returned it to its semi-natural color of dirty blonde using chunky highlights. Tara is awesome. The salon is clean. Everyone is friendly. I've found my salon and even referred my son there because he wants his hair colored purple or blue and Tara would be perfect for the job!

After a ridiculously long 3 1/2 hr appointment, left with dark permanent hair dye painted on my roots, so now have 3" of intentionally added grow out!! Who would want MORE roots added on a highlight touch up?! Was also weirdly told " NO peeking" after I was shampooed, and turned away from the mirror twice... The salon is straight out of the movie Steel Magnolias, the hairstylists all have super dated 80's hair (should have been the first red flag) are very unprofessional and talk to each other instead of their clients. If you are a 80+ yr old woman that just needs your weekly hair curling, and doesn't need a stylist that keeps up on their training, you're probably good to come here, otherwise, do yourself a giant favor & book anywhere else! Lucked out & found an AMAZING stylist in Suffolk at Salon on Pointe that was actually horrified at whatever this mess was. Best $$ I've ever spent to have this fixed!

It's really difficult to find a great hairdresser, but once you do and just love how your hair is being done I stick with her. I had the same hairstylists in Germany for about 9 years when we lived in one location. So basically have always sticked with the same person. I must say it only took us about one month to find Jaime and I'm so glad we did. Now I live in Yorktown and won't find anyone else new. I will travel and go through the traffic in the highway and deal with ignorant driver's just to get my hair done. She's worth it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion so it's up to the person to decide whether they like Jaime's style, but I will always go to her and we definitely love her
