We requested a high traffic finish over the oil based polyurethane finish because we have a small dog. He also had to fill gaps between the ends of boards due to hardwood shifting on our slab floors. He didn't have a sample we specifically requested be brought to the appointment. That was the first strike. After I received the quote, I emailed twice asking for additional quotes as we chose a different carpet. No response for 3 days. That is not acceptable. They lost our business. How could we trust the rest of the process after the bad start? We did decide on Mohawk products for both carpet and laminate flooring so they had the opportunity to install flooring for most of our house. We went with another family owned business.

Be aware that staining floors takes a number of days. Very happy at how they matched our existing floors (in hallway) which were 17 years old. Check out the picture, it's hard to tell which floor is new and which is 17 years old. Robin installed the floors for us. Well done Robin. I would definitely use Brady's Floor again and I recommend them to you without reservations. The price matched the quote provided.

Their communication isn't that great - it took him a while after the first visit to send us a quote. After we decided to hire him, he told us that the job would take Tuesday to Friday. They didn't tell us what time they were showing up and his men didn't call us when they came; they just waited outside until we came to open the doors for them. Who knows how long they were waiting? And they always left before we could ask them what time they were coming the next day. The worst thing was their failure to let us know the job would take three extra business days to finish. Normally, this would not be a big deal, but the problem is that they didn't tell us. I went to the house to check up on the progress on Thursday, and it was clear they weren't going to finish by Friday. They should've have told us up front, but instead, I had to chase after them to ask if they were going to finish on time, and the response was, "No, it will be done by Wednesday." I had other contractors lined up to come the following week and had to push all those appointments back last minute. Even if we didn't have other contractors coming, I felt it was disrespectful of our time for them to not proactively tell us the job was going to take longer than they thought. In the end, the job they did was okay for the price, but the finished work was not top-notch. Mr. Brady said they would fix the cracks and spaces between some planks of wood, and while all the small cracks are gone, the biggest gap between two planks of wood is still there.

It wasn't inflated like some businesses like to do. The workmanship was excellent. You can have confidence that Jose knows what he's doing and it was extra nice that he was able to move my bed and dresser which is important for many people if they can't do it themselves. My new LVP flooring in my bedroom elevated the aesthetics and the vibe. I am so pleased with how it all turned out and the whole experience was smooth and well communicated. Answered all our questions and recommended flooring based on our budget. Went with an LVT in the kitchen and used leftover wood laminate from a previous job. Jose and his partner came out and installed all the flooring. You could tell they want it done right. They didn't rush. They adjusted, measured carefully. The floors look amazing!
