We had a chance to visit Canada's National Tower AKA CN Tower @cntower and eat at @cntower360 for lunch. You can tell by the pictures we were not disappointed in the menu options. Beginning with the view, the restaurant gives you a 360 view of Toronto at over 1000 feet in the air. There are different menus depending on if you dine for lunch or dinner but you'll be satisfied with either. We went for the Cesar salad with the maple glazed bacon and Cesar vinaigrette as a starter. Then we took a bite out of their Roast Beef Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and asparagus and the Fogo Island Cod. There was no room left for desert because every bit was eaten. The menus was reasonably priced as we both selected the two course special for $60. Be sure to make a reservation early in advance and ask for a window seat. After you eat, you can take a tour of the glass bottom section and walk around on a separate floor. read more

It's a must for tourists and it makes a great backdrop for pictures, but maybe it's a bit outdated. It certainly will not stand the test of time like the Eiffel Tower or Empire State Building. If only they could replace it with another icon! But if you are new to Toronto it's a must to check out. Bring your pocketbook, it's not cheap. La Tour CN! First time in Canada and I had an amazing experience at the tower for my birthday. I made reservations for the 360 restaurant which comes with access to the tower's observation decks. The price for the reservation per person was totally worth it for everything that came with it. Plus did I mention I skipped lines with the reservation?! The food was great in my opinion, steak well done desert and appetizers amazing. To sum it up nicely with the breathtaking view?! Take me away I made my reservation for 8pm because at this time of year the sun was out so long and I wanted to see the day to night transition and it was worth it! Only bummer was that by the time I was done exploring every nuke and cranny the gift shop was closed and I had plans to go home with a trunk of souvenirs for my family and friends but oh well I got some at Niagara I recommend visiting right at the start of summer btw late May and Early June, definitely make a reservation and yes take tons of photos P.S it's a good spot to propose read more

What a rush of excitement as you ride the lift up to the very top of CN Tower! Once you get to the top, the views are majestic and the view of Toronto on top are amazing. I didn't notice as I was walking around the city but the tower lets you see just how many trees are throughout the entire city. Being at the top of CN Tower reminded me how Toronto has such a NY/Hong Kong/Seoul/Tokyo vibe to it. Being a visitor to all those cities, I think Toronto can be similar to them, just with less skyscrapers and definitely not as tall. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the atmosphere here at the top and soaking in everything Toronto has to offer. However, I didn't like how leaving the top was such a hassle. You don't ride the same elevators up and they have to guide you to walk down stairs to a very ghetto looking area before taking elevators back down. read more

Tourist trap alert! It's basically the space needle, but in Canada. With that said, I still had to check it out. Who goes to Toronto and doesn't check out the most touristy building there? With that said, don't waste your money at the 360 restaurant. $70 for a three course meal?! Pass. It was interesting to look at though! The menu looked like something I could get at any bar back home (Like Ale House or Gators). The view was the best part! It was really amazing to see the city from that high up! The only part that was scary was the glass floors showing the view straight down from 170+ feet up! That's a whole lotta hell no right there! The elevator taking you to the top was equally cool and frightening. Their was a view straight down too! It was pretty sturdy though, so I didn't feel unsafe. Really nice visit to Toronto. Wanted to do the CN TOWER tour to get some nices views of the area. I purchased a city pass which was cheaper to get them to pay for each attraction separately. With the city pass I was also able to go to the Ripley's Aquarium and Toronto Zoo. The CN Tower and aquarium are located right next to each. So is the Rogers Center. Parking in Toronto is crazy just like NYC hard to find and expensive just an FYI. There is a parking garage near by. read more

We had a great time! We had our tickets scheduled for 1200 in the afternoon but arrived at 1130. They told us we would have to wait ten minutes but there was an area where it actually got pretty full. So we recommend to show up a little early to be first in your timed general admission to go up. There's security scanners at the door and then you get your photo taken for the souvenir photos that you can view at the end. There's then anothee line to go up to the main observation area. There was a lot of people on the floor for 1200p on a Thursday. So maybe go earlier or earlier in the week? Getting photos was tricky as everyone walks in your shot to get to the glass at any given moment. Purchase your skypod tickets in advance as they are only $7.50 online compared to $10 onsite. If you wait then you may not get a time slot for a while as they are limited. They are in increments of twenty minutes. We tried to go up fifteen minutes early and again they won't let you go up early. The skypod is worth it. There's less people up there so more opportunities to take photos. The skypod has slanted windows versus the normal windows on the main observation floor. This actually made me feel a little dizzy and on edge but I'm not afraid of heights. So if you are actually afraid of heights it may bother you more. You can see the EdgeWalk people from the skypod. You can also see them on cameras on the main observation floor where they have wireless charging spots/sitting areas. Food and beverages can be purchased on the observation floor as well. There's tables as well that families can sit at. There's no cap at how long you can be up there but there's really not much to do if you've seen everything. The line for the elevator to go down was very long. We waited like twenty minutes or so. Washrooms/toilet for women is kind of tricky to find in comparison to the men's so ask someone who works there it's in the back of a walkway. Gift shop is cute and has every souvenir possible. We actually liked one of the backgrounds with our picture but it was $30 without tax and we were like uhhh no thanks. We didn't like them THAT much. I visited the CN Tower here in December 2020. Great place to check out - there are a lot of infographics along the way to the elevators taking you up to the tower. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and insightful - I learned a lot at the Tower. The trips up and down were awesome - you get a wonderful view of Toronto and the floor of the elevator is part glass so you can see below you. Once you're up there (I didn't go all the way up to the restaurant) you get a hell of a view of Toronto - I was so touristy switching back between my iPhone and DSLR, ! There were a couple of cafés if you wanted a snack or drink. There is a section with a glass floor where at first was nerve-wracking for me but I got over it. Once you're back downstairs, there are a couple more cafés if you need a bite or a drink and a great gift shop where I got the cool Toronto shirt in my photos! It's my 2nd time in Toronto, and I've always admired the beauty of this skyscraper from afar. This is the iconic landmark that is proof that you've made it here. We finally made it a mission to actually go inside the CN Tower. We purchased their timed general admissions ticket for the Lookout Level on their website and was able to see the beautiful views of Toronto at 346 m high (1,136 ft). The last time I was this high up was probably back in 2008 at the Empire State Building, when the elevators were shaking, and my ears wouldn't stop popping. Thankfully it's not that serious here -- my ears weren't popping as much, and you can see the views as you're going up. The elevator wasn't shaking, and it was actually moving pretty quickly -- the staff said it was moving at 58 seconds. When we got up to the Lookout Level, I discovered that an upgraded ticket would give us access to the Edgewalk which allows you to go outside of the CN Tower, where you'd be harnessed to the tower with a hands free thrilling experience. It looks fun and less intimidating than skydiving, in my opinion. My partner is scared of heights, and I didn't want to do that by myself. Also if you go up another 101 m, you'd reach their Skypod which is another upgrade, and is the furthest you can go. The most popular is probably their general admission ticket because it was probably 100+ people there with us, and it still gives you that experience you otherwise wouldn't get. I'd recommend checking this out at least once in your lifetime, and it's definitely worth a visit. read more

Is it touristy as hell? Yes! Is it a must do while visiting the city? Heck Yes!! I don't care how long you're in town for you have to make sure to check this off your list of sites to see. Situated adjacent to Ripley's Aquarium you can grab a ticket for around $40 CAD and can then add on to go up the "space needle". Keep in mind there is a security checkpoint before your go in and there's two lines to utilize. From that point you purchase your tickets and walk past the souvenir store (you'll be directed there when you take the elevator back down) and can take a green screen photo. The next check point you hit is the line to go up the main elevators that'll take you to the sky deck. It was currently under construction (just a section of it) but those newly installed floor-to-roof windows are LIFE! The views are amazing and you definitely want to make sure you have storage space on your camera or phone. From above you can even see New York on a clear day but make sure to take your time and bask in all the views the CN Tower offers. For those of y'all who might get hangry... there's a snack kiosk up there. You can actually go outside on their roof deck and walk around but keep in mind those winds are no joke! We found some free time after a business dinner that afforded us the opportunity to visit the CN Tower. The CN Tower is a concrete communications and observation tower located in Downtown Toronto. The Tower was completed in 1976 and it held the record for the world's tallest free-standing structure for 32 years until 2007. It is today I believe the ninth tallest free-standing structure in the world. It was about 8pm when we entered the Tower. We decided to purchase tickets for the Tower and the extended section to the further top of the Tower. The elevator to the first section where they had also a restaurant moved very fast. When we exited the elevator we noticed a hard glass floor that one can stand a d visualized the distance from ground. It was a spectacular view and somewhat frightening. We also stepped outdoors and has we circled the Tower one can feel the winds distinctly. The next level elevator was quite a bit slower than the previous ride due to the narrow section that it climbs. But once on top, the views were outstanding. Also the building can sway up to a foot or more and one can surely feel the movement. It is definitely worthwhile to visit the Tower. I suggest visiting the Tower during the day when better views of Niagara Falls and other sites are much more visible. read more

CN tower is one of the most iconic structures in Toronto. Of course we had to come and see what's up! It just so happened to be right next to Ripley's aquarium, which was very convenient. Now, we came to Canada in January, and as you know that here's the middle of winter. Not surprisingly the day was cloudy and there was fog. And it was snowing as well, which isn't very conducive to get a nice view of the city. With not a lot to do, we took the opportunity to go into one of the two restaurants at the top of the tower to eat some lunch. After a while it cleared out some and we were able to take some cool pictures. The Vista is OK during the day. Price is a little steep at over $30 ( if you get there Toronto city pass you save a lot of money) We came back the very same night to have dinner at the 360 restaurant. Now that was amazing! The view of the city at night it's breathtaking. And because the restaurant rotates in itself we had a different view every time we looked out. I would imagine that during the summer, on a clear, sunny day the view is awesome. I would definitely do the restaurant again!! read more

I had been previously warned about long dreadful waits here since it is a major attraction in Toronto, but I probably lucked out since I did not go on the weekend. While on ground floor, you go through an area with fun facts about the CN Tower and mini models to look at. Right before the elevator they take a picture of you in front of a green screen and you are given a ticket to redeem upon your exit. Then you enter the elevator with a clear opening and glass floor panels for you to watch as you reach the top floor in a quick 58 seconds. From here you can access the Lookout floor with a breathtaking view of the city. You can walk all around to see every angle of the city. If you go one floor down, you can also get to the Glass floor with the world famous glass floors, an outdoor sky terrace. This is the level with the elevators going down. If I come back in the future I definitely would like to enjoy a meal here. They have a nicer 360 Restaurant or a more casual Horizon's restaurant. I feel like this would have been an amazing way to fully experience and enjoy the CN Tower but I had already eaten before coming here. If you feel brave they have a Skypod Level that is the highest level you can get on and the Edgewalk experience. Both of these are available at additional costs of course... Just as it was a quick ride up, it was a quick ride down. This is where they show you your pictures with the CN Tower backgrounds and trick you into buying their stuff. There is also a gift shop tempting you to buy stuff as you exit. Toronto is such a beautiful city and the stunning view from the CN Tower really left an imprint of this city in my heart. I walked around the Lookout floor and the Glass floor in full circles slowly admiring the majestic city. There was the city side and then the water front. It was so stunning. I am so grateful that I came on a day where it was not overly busy so I could fully soak in the full glory of this experience. read more

I honestly don't see what all the hype about this attraction is. It's just like any other tower with a view, with less of a view. The inside section is limited with only a few panes of full length windows, and the outside is all caged up with an obstructed view. I'm pretty sure you have to pay more than you already did to go to the SkyPod, which we killed because we heard it wasn't worth it. The only possibly cool part would be the in floor windows, but there's no organization to how that section is managed and a bunch of kids were crawling all over the floor, ruining it for everyone else who also paid money to be present there. Wasn't enough space to be shared by paying adults and unruly 6-12 year olds. Thankfully I've seen it, done and done, because I won't be back. read more

Beautiful aerial views once you reach the top of the tower. Emphasis on the word "once" The line to go up is super, super, extremely, ghastly, horribly long. The reality is there is only one elevator that takes you up and one down. Limited by capacity and a sheer volume of people. You will wait 2 to 3 hours just to go up and wait almost as long to go down. The saving grace is if you are willing to shell out almost triple the price you can skip everybody and be a "Premier" pass holder enabling you to bypass the poor souls waiting for hours, Capitalism at it's best. So plan ahead and go early if you plan to wait or ante up and go 1st. The views though are quite amazing and the glass floor is scary cool. Once you come back down from oohing and ahhing the gift shop awaits you. read more

I'm giving this place at 3 because even though it is recommended as a very popular tourist spot to meet in Toronto I felt that what you get was not worth the value of ticket. This is definitely overpriced to Simply go back to an elevator and look out on the city. I will say the view was lovely and it's a cool experience but again for me not worth the price. There are places to eat and drink if you do want to stay for awhile but they can be a little costly. I will say this the atmosphere was pretty cool so you could sit and have a couple of drinks with some loved ones. The wait for the elevators can definitely slow so you will definitely want to go out a time when it's not hugely packed. If you're willing to spend the money you can go visit within Toronto but of all the attractions that I did spend money on this is probably the least that I felt was really worth it. read more

I went to CN Tower in the afternoon with my family and the line wasn't too bad. It looked long but moved quickly. We didn't get to go to the top of the tower due to time constraints but I wish I got to see it! I also wish that I went during night time because the lights would probably be stunning. But the views were really nice regardless. You get to see the beautiful city down under! I'm glad that they had minimal Halloween decorations because it was a nice touch and not at all distracting. My only complaint was the elevator. Going up, they limited to only one or two parties in one elevator. However, when I went down, they tried cramming three parties together without hesitation. It was really close quartered and packed, which bothered me because covid is still a thing. And even if it's not, they really said maximum capacity lol read more

I've been up here a few times and I have to admit that they are organized pretty well. The staff are friendly and answer all kinds of questions. The open cage level can be quite cold in the winter, but you can walk all the way around. The indoor level has a small gift shop. You must head to the sky pod level to be at the highest point, that's another elevator. The admission was $36 a person which seems far too high to me. Lunch was over $50 a person, a bit much as well. The gift shop after you go back down has lots of merchandise and at reasonable prices. read more

The CN Tower is a really amazing place! It is truly one of the 7 Wonders of the World! When you get up to the top you will experience such amazing views. First, I would recommend you buy timed tickets online before you. It allows you to skip the crazy long line, which is way out the door. After that, you get on an elevator ride that takes around a minute. Around and below you are glass panels, which allows you to see how fast and far you are going. Once you leave the elevator you can than takes pictures or see the beautiful skyline from large windows, have a meal at the Horizon restaurant or go outside into their viewing center. I was even risky enough to my foot on the glass floor! You can also go a bit higher into the sky pod or participate in an activity where you walk on the brim of the building. The later I would not think about! The experience is a bit expensive, but there is only a small difference between the prices of general admission and a timed ticket. There are also plenty of other things to do in the area including going to a Blue Jay's game. There also street vendors nearby who sell stuff like balloon animals. If you plan on going to the aquarium I would require you buy the ticket package as it is cheaper that way. Altogether, this is a must visit when in Toronto! read more

I hate crowds and queues so this place didn't really appeal to me. But it does offer some spectacular views of Greater Toronto. At around 1-2pm, the wait on a Thursday to get to the Tower and views was at least an hour. Once on top, there are good food options. I had a hot dog that came on a fresh bun with a very good side of coleslaw. The fries were pretty ok too. Because there was so many people, it wasn't a very comfortable experience. If you love being in crowds, you will love the entire experience. To me, it left me feeling as if I didn't have enough oxygen to breathe. We visited this tour on a quick tour of Toronto one weekend. We arrived early in the morning and there was a very small line. The elevator ride up and down was cool seeing the beautiful city as we rode. The views from the top are picturesque and amazing. The glass floor wasn't as scary as I though it would be. We enjoyed trying to get that good photo from the glass floor. We didn't spend any extra money on the fancier experiences like "front of the line or Premiere." It was cool seeing the pictures from other customers who proposed or got married in the tower. I loved the area where this Tower is located. You can sit outside near the fountain or check out the aquarium right next door which is what we did. This tourist spot was worth the visit and is off my checklist in Toronto for now. This was on number one on my things to do and it was cool. Nice area with it being in a general area with the aquarium and the skydome (kind of reminds me of Seattle with the space needle, basketball area, multiple museums, and the fountains being in like a public square like this). Now the lines can be long but move along at a good rate (took me about 30 min to get to the top). I was expecting more of a mini museum vibe with like previous high obsveratipn decks but while it give facts on the building being built, that's it actually (just views but great gift shop). CN tower hands down is the sole reason for visiting Toronto during this trip to Canada. It's beautiful and great experience for lifetime with your family and friends. Went here on Thursday around 7pm and had no hassle finding a parking lot that was conveniently $15 (Canadian dollars) from 6pm-6am within a short walk (7 mins). There's plenty of parking lots but be wise some individuals want to park immediately across the street from CN tower and of course are pricier but I personally don't mind the walk. It's a great spot to take awesome pictures inside and out. It didn't take long to get in as the staff was very active at doing their job and expediting the process. Prior to purchasing the tickets upon entering the tower one must first go through security clearance. There's different options if you just want the tower experience without the sky-pod it's $15 cheaper. The skypod cost $15 (Canadian dollars) which is totally worth it as you get to walk on the glass as well. After purchasing the tickets you get to take a picture of your group, proceed to getting on the elevator and enjoy the beautiful view. Skypod is the last stop and gives you a phenomenal view. Oh they have edge walk but naw I'm too scared for that but hey if you are a daredevil go for it. Elevator ride is the best and scary as you see yourself reaching the top. Don't leave Toronto without seeing CN tower. read more

While my eyes were saying "wow!" my wallet was saying "Ow!". As a tourist, I don't regret having visited, and the view is truly breathtaking, but the price is up there with the elevation. Be warned: the lines can get hours long. I got lucky, When I went there was virtually no line (Wednesday afternoon in mid-September). If you'r schedule is tight, plan ahead (I believe they have timed tickets). I also opted for the sky pod. It's a couple extra bucks, and having already spent what I did for general admission, I decided: why not? The view isn't necessarily better, you're just a bit higher up. If you aren't the kind of person who wants to get as close as possible to touching the clouds, it might not be worth it. I'd also like to add that I really dug the dimming windows so you would not be as blinded by the sun. It goes without saying, dimming or no dimming, save your eyes! The bottom floor of the observation deck was neat! There are fewer people out there, and some fresh air! Though, it can get quite a bit cooler up there. One of the drawbacks here: the safety netting is rather far away, so you wouldn't be able to get pictures that are as awesome, you either have the "net" or glare if you're upstairs. Oh, and the glass floor was cool, and the elevators were awesome and fast! Bottom line: if you're a tourist, this should definitely be on your list, but plan ahead to avoid lines. read more

It's incredible to think such a gigantic structure, 553.3 meters (1,815.3 feet) high was built way back in 1976. This elegant, sleek, grandiose structure reigned as the world's tallest free-standing structure for 32 years (thanks for raining on the parade, Dubai's Burj Khalifa!). Named for the now-divested rail company, CN Tower is a must-see gem in a gem of a city. Before entering, drink in the beautiful view. I HIGHLY recommend skipping the big lines and getting a package including the 360 Restaurant (reservations required but usually available the same day). Yes, it is pricey, but the best view we got (IMHO) was the ~90 minutes we spent rotating around the city ... and the food was excellent. Overall, the views are amazing! The people ... mmm, not so much. I mean the CN Tower folks can't do much about big, obnoxious crowds (especially on a Saturday, as during the one we visited). And, there are lines to get up and to get back down (which we mainly skipped, since we were eating at the 360 Restaurant). Still, the CN Tower is an absolute must-see in Toronto. Good thing staff were friendly and in pristine red CN Tower uniforms with name tags and some with even a winter jacket in the middle of the hot and humid summer! Free WiFi is available after going through security. Seems like they have upped their offerings with glass bottom elevators, platforms, along with skypods that all have incremental costs! To top off the cherry, there is a pricey gift shop along with cafeteria serving junk food on the way out too! Bring a large wallet and enjoy the view from the top! Quintessential Toronto landmark. It truly is a must see/experience at least once in your life. The view is amazing and they have 5 different ways to experience it. The outside balcony, the inside windows, the glass floor, the edge walk, and the skypod. However, you have to pay for the skypod and/or edge walk if you choose those options. I had been to the CN Tower once before when I was a kid and didn't remember anything at all. It was definitely a surreal experience but it wasn't as scary as I remembered it. A few things to keep in mind: -I understand why there are protective barriers on the balcony area but it just kinda ruins the view, you can only see through tiny holes. -The windows aren't clean all the time everywhere so depending on where you are, it can get gross. -The elevator ride up is cool but since they cram everyone in there, unless you're close to the doors, you won't have a good view. -The glass floor area is much smaller than I remembered and it never really feels like you're standing 114 floors up. If you can manage to avoid high traffic times, it's the best. We got there around closing time so it was pretty crowded but still ok. We went to Horizon for a drink (their kitchen had closed by the time we arrived) and it felt amazing to be drinking something at the top of the tower. This is someplace I'd love to revisit because the view will change with the seasons, weather, time of day, etc... The view that I saw as a kid is drastically different from the view I got as an adult. I think that's extraordinary. read more

Visited here on a Wednesday afternoon! The place was really busy but definitely visit on a weekday compared to the weekend. Views were really pretty! We ended up buying the CN Tower and Ripleys aquarium bundle online. As for the glass floor: it's a bit ridiculous. First of all, children and grown adults were laying flat out all over the floor. It made it really hard to go and take a picture when people are laying all over the floor. Unfortunately it's a small area as well. The other negative review I have is that in order to go to the top floor you have to pay extra. Just seemed a bit expensive to have to pay even more to see the rest of the tower. Line is ridiculous to get ticket to get in. Online system doesn't work to reserve our tickets. Then the line to get in the tower is crazy! Then the line to get into elevator is long. It can be easily 3-4 hours ordeal just to get upstairs. Not worth it! read more

553 meters high rise skyscraper which gives 360 degree view of the the city.It is considered one of the modern seven wonders of the world. It even held the record for tallest free standing structure in the world . There are three public observation points: the SkyPod (then known as the Space Deck) that stands at 447 m (1,467 ft), the Indoor Observation Level at 346 m (1,135 ft), and the Outdoor Observation Terrace (at the same level as the Glass Floor) at 342 m (1,122 ft).One floor above the Indoor Observation Level was the Top of Toronto Restaurant, which completed a revolution once every 72 minutes. The ticket costs 30 US dollars till the observation deck and another 12 dollars for sky pod.The elevators go around 15-20 km/hr and floor is made of glass which gives the elevator path view. nice modern spacious rooms in the heart of the convention center. NO HOTEL Is closer to convention center. Rooms bigger and more modern than most other near by hotels. Staff is pleasant. read more
